"Friendly service, especially the male waiter (unfortunately we didn't get his name), who chatted with us like an old friend. He gave my brother a t-shirt who was visiting from out of town! Food wise it's pretty good. You don't get much of the fancy rolls you do at other sushi restaurants, though. But overall the quality was good. We also tried the chicken teriyaki dinner combo plate which was quite a lot of food and decent. We will try them again soon and focus more on the sushi."

Great sushi. I love the Eel. The scallop cut roll was perfect on the amount the scallop. They were very nice.

Top Notch Sushi Spot in Santa Clarita, and honestly better than the majority of places in LA. They have a sushi bar and also dining tables. The sushi... View menu

This place is a Hidden gem! Fish is sooo fresh it feels like I caught the fish myself. Spicy Salmon salad is my absolute favorite a must try! I forgot what roll this was I think it was tuna but it's the best!

My favorite spot for sushi in Santa Clarita! The sushi is consistently fresh, the rice is always perfect, and their creativity in preparation is impressive. I really enjoy the all-you-can-eat option and love letting the chef surprise us with their selections. I can’t wait for our next visit!

This is as close as you can get to enjoying sushi in Japan. The quality of the food and the service here are excellent. If you're looking for authentic sushi, this is the place to be. While they do offer cut rolls and other items, the focus should be on the sushi, prepared the way it’s meant to be enjoyed. Food: 5/5 View menu

I love Light and Healthy, it 's so freaking amazing. I grew up eating here and moved to Santa Barbara, but I still make trips to take my family there whenever I can. There is no sushi this good in SB!! Love Jack and the team. It may seem a little expensive, but the all you can eat is a great deal, and you won 't find sushi this good around.Kid-friendliness: My 7 year old loves it here...he 's bogie like that

I suppose the prices are somewhat reasonable considering inflation, but I still feel they are a bit overpriced. The customer service could also use some improvement, although the seafood is very fresh. One aspect I really didn't like was that if you opt for the all-you-can-eat sushi, you have to sit at the bar, which seems quite unreasonable. Additionally, there's a sign indicating that you must finish your meal within an hour.

"Honestly, food is delicious. So good, perfectly seasoned, nicely plated, well priced. Seriously, kudos to the chefs in the back! But I can 't give them 5 stars because service wasn 't good. The dude who looks like Edna from incredibles hesitated to seat us at first. (They have signs everywhere that says no mask no service but uh, he wasn 't wearing a mask either everyone else who walked in after us didn 't have masks on at all mainly 'cuz most businesses stopped forcing people to wear them back in 2021) but he still nervously asked his bosses if we could be seated. They said yes. So we sat. He basically threw our menus at us from afar. Acted like we were diseased. Rude. We are healthy by the way and no one wasCoughing or whatever so that was whacked. Then he took our orders from a whole table 's length away. Couldn 't even be bothered to stand next to us like a normal server. He literally stood behind the 6 top next to us and took our order. Like Who does that?!He dropped our food and drinks off and didn 't come back for the rest of our meal. Hubby asked him later if we could order takeout. He took our order hubby went to pay. Hubby goes to the restroom dude is at my table telling me do you have another card? Your card was rejected. Really loudly. (Turns out my cc company rejected it because he ran it through multiple times that triggered a fraud alert) I asked if they accepted amex. Nope. Apple pay? Nope. So guys if you have AMEX or Apple Pay be warned: they do NOT take either here. Anyway i wrote my card info down and it went through. I asked him for the paper back and he told me no. WTH? I grabbed a pen scratched it all out but I don 't get why he gave me such a hard time about it. Anyway. If you eat in, be prepared for good food with really weird service. Otherwise, ordering takeout from this place is a good option."

"We had a good experience at Black Bear Diner in Santa Clarita. It 's a chain breakfast place where you can get lots of basic breakfast items in a bear-themed environment (without all the growling and mothers protecting their young which you get when real bears are around. The portions were huge so you definitely won 't go hungry here and there are a million things to choose from, as well as plenty to eat for vegetarians, and gluten-free folks will do okay too. (Though the only gluten-free bread option is a hamburger bun. I had the No Meat, Just the Eggs Please which was a good amount of egg whites and an insane amount of crispy hashbrowns. They were cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning so were a bit bland. They were nice enough to sub a single Sweet Cream Pancake as my bread option. This was a generous-sized thing on its own and tasted as good as a pancake should. The coffee was really good. Too often conventional breakfast places serve up weak coffee which just doesn 't do the job. The mug they served me was filled with a bold, strong coffee that I would drink over and over. Well done! Our kid enjoyed his breakfast burrito without meat...another giant portion which even he, with all his teenage eating prowess, could not finish. And my wife was fine with her benedict meal served without bread (no gluten-free breakfast bread option. They did forget to bring our english muffin side until the end of the meal. We ended up packing it up and taking it with us with the rest of the leftovers. It was a great surprise to have decent food, large portions, and really good coffee at a chain conventional breakfast spot. I 'm a fan and will be back."
