"The restaurant is in pretty rough shape. Our waiter was fantastic! The steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes were enjoyable, but the seafood platter was disappointing—greasy and lacking flavor, especially for the price. After waiting for 30 to 45 minutes despite the low turnout of only eight people, I can't say I would return. And seriously, no sweet tea in LA? That’s surprising! I really wish this place hadn’t been recommended to us."

Last week, we dined at Grand Isle during our visit and had dinner there one evening. The broiled flounder was outstanding. Our server, Tony, was wonderful and incredibly helpful. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Best kept secret in Grand Isle... I hope this review doesn't ruin it! Everything on the menu is well executed and presented. Steaks are phenomenal. It is great for families as it has a wide selection with good prices.

Had dinner tonight at Lighthouse Restaurant! Very prompt and courteous service! Had the broiled seafood platter! Would highly recommend it! Cooked perfectly and seasoned well! Was very enjoyable atmosphere! Will dine there again on future trips to Grand Isle!

Food was awful. Not many places to eat in Grand Isle, but decided to venture off from our usual, YUMS. The crabmeat stuffed mushrooms were almost black from being over broiled. Flavor lacked. The stuffed shrimp were tasteless as well. Best were the 2-3 hush puppies on the side. For the price this was a huge disappointment! View menu

This place was very decent. With few choices on the island, we checked it out. The waiter was really nice and helpful. The steak was ordinary and the appetizers weren't anything special. Someone in our party got the crawfish pasta which was actually really tasty. The fries were blah. Overall not a bad meal but nothing to rave about.

I had the displeasure of being seated with the tall flamboyant waiter. By far the worst service i've ever received from any business, bad enough for me to make a yelp account, which i'll likely never use again, just to leave this review. This is the first time ever I've left no tip for my waiter. Get great service, great food, better prices at the Starfish restaurant.
