"Saw a video awhile back on instagram of this place. So it’s been on our list of places to try. And my gawd was it worth it! Not only were the meats some Smokey delicious goodness but the sides!! Oh my the sides. We had the greens, rice peas, plantains and Mac cheese SOO good! Not to mention they had kool-aid as a drink option! The staff suggested mixing the available flavors and that was the right call. Speaking of the staff they were so friendly and helpful. Giving the run down on everything along with what they were out of. Will for sure be returning! I need to try the burnt ends!"

Love the vibe, love the brisket mac cheese was phenomenal… Coolest thing I think while visiting this place cause I could hear the owners talking about nothing but barbecue lol I knew I was in the right place as someone who is passionate about my career as well mad props and we appreciate you gentlemen !!

Loved our experience here at Lil Red's! We got the jerk chicken, mac cheese, collard greens , cornbread, beef patty and plantains. Everything was delicious! No complaints. Food was all smushed together in a take out container. Fish sauce was all over my yams and mac n cheese. Mac n cheese only has taste of flour and pepper. I'm Caribbean it's not even good macaroni pie. Corn bread is heavy and not good. My fiance had flavorless rice and beans, ribs and plantains were edible at best. Worst $45 spent. Absolutely amazing food. Had heard great things and they delivered! They were out of Mac when I went, so I will have to circle back to try some later. I ordered jerk chicken with greens and jerk pork fried rice. The jerk chicken with the sauce was a very complex flavor that had a slow growing heat that was phenomenal. The greens are next level, by far the best I've had out of the south. The rice was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Corn bread was on point!

Look at my picture to see their “Large Plantains”. It is literally 7 pieces of small plantains. This is what they served me even after I asked specifically “Is that a large portion of plantains?”. My order was 1lb of brisket, 0.5lb of burnt ends, large baked beans and large plantains. The big guy in kitchen was nice and clearly this is a family owned local and respectable restaurant. But honestly I will never be coming back, or I’ll just get the meat. Just look at our “large plantains” again please. 7$ of plantains is apparently that much.
