"Best lobster roll NYC :D Piled super high on a perfectly toasted and buttered, sturdy hot dog bun. Served with a perfectly reasonable amount of old bay fries and slaw. The Gowanus tower is a great appetizer order for two: a dozen oysters (3 varieties , six clams (come with mezcal vinegar huge fan!! Brilliant idea!! , and six shrimp cocktail. That and a bottle of Riesling for less than the price of four glasses of the stuff really did the trick. If you want to fish out or if"

Seafood was fresh. Service was good. Just a bit noisy where we were sitting in the front table right by the bar.

Always excellent food (outstanding oysters) and drink and a relaxed and welcoming vibe….service is friendly, but definitely not a fast food joint!

This is our got to place for seafood. Their brunch is always on point, from pancakes, lobster rolls or fish sandwiches. The owners are previously employees and really know how to run a quick efficient restaurant. You won?t be disappointed. View menu

Cute looking restaurant and decent food. Sadly the service is not great. They are less than friendly, and they don’t seem to like having customers or at least that’s how they made us feel. Also the website and menu are very out of date. Probably wouldn’t recommend

Wanted a festive meal, birthday celebration, lobster/seafood fix. This was the perfect place. Oysters fresh and delicious, mushroom toast scrumptious, lobster rolls with butter heavenly, wine by the glass outstanding, Ordered the two desserts available: great. Service attentive and friendly. Sunday street parking a breeze.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
