Lola - Menu

eating in lola was excellent. subtle twists on traditional Mexican tariff. very fresh! restaurant is modern casual and very welcoming. we introduced ourselves to the owner who was behind the kitchen! he obviously laid his heart and his soul in lola. highly recommended!

I have never seen or tasted a beautiful and tasty guacamole and chips! no exaggeration. everything about this place is perfect. the relaxed ambiente, the design, the menu! I want to go back and try everything on the menu. I wanted to taste every dish I saw. I'm so happy. I'll go back and forth.

The carne asada is great, but that is about it. The chips and guac are good, but not $13 good. Hot chocolate is really not great and quesadilla smelled like BO and didn’t taste great. Stopped in for lunch and had the guacamole chips, asada burrito, and a house coffee. The meat was really high quality and cooked perfectly. Everything else for that matter was also fantastic, super fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned. I’ll be coming back here whenever I am in Salt Lake City, it’s that good.

Pros great space, friendly staff, great food that is ingredients-centric and delicious. The guacamole and chip, tostada, tacos we loved everything. Plus a bluegrass band (Hardwood Hearts) upped the vibe.Cons not a fan of the berry margarita (more reminiscent of a smoothie that a margarita). I would stick with the classic margarita.

A great lunch spot! Lola is a newer spot and I have wanted to try forever.The guacamole with shavings of parm on top was incredible! A great starter.Steak Tacos: Might just be some of the best I have ever had, especially for lunch. The cut of meat was trendy and juicy. You know a restaurant is good when you travel 45 minutes just to eat there. Lola’s used to be in our city of Orem and we fell in love with the food. It is always fresh and delicious. The owners are so kind and friendly. We just love them. The portions are small here and it is a little pricey, however, the quality is out of this world. If you are a true foodie, it is where you want to be. I gave it 4 stars because the service we had wasn’t the greatest. We were dining outside and it felt like our waitress forgot about us a lot.

let me start saying that eating is delicious. the aromen are delicious. the atmosphere is great, the service was amazing. drinks were delicious. we wanted to try out the tacos and the server made me one of the carnitas and the garnels (they typically come with 2 of each for the plate). partner ordered the asada tacos. each was perfectly cooked, aromen were brilliant, meat was tender. the only thing we missed was the possibility of additional toppings. tweebel, zilantro, pico, hot sauce, etc. and we get it, it's an upscale taco dining experience, but the possibility of the sweet would have broken the filling of meat on each taco. we will definitely try other menu items again.

Last night we had the great pleasure of experiencing Lola for the first time. We walked into a sexy atmosphere and were greeted with genuine, family like hospitality. Their menu is inventive and executed with true passion. Everything we tasted was delicious! Their chef Sam is making some of the best Mexican cuisine I’ve ever tasted. And their cocktail program is fantastic; they’re serving legitimate “craft cocktails”.Have I mentioned the service? This is a family run restaurant and they made us feel like we were guests in their home. I’m so thrilled to have this GEM of a restaurant in our town! I cannot recommend Lola more.
