"We were on our way back to Texas and we needed coffee and breakfast badly. We stopped in Santa Rosa, no dice. Restaurants either didn’t open until later or were closed permanently. Boo! We thought we were going to strike out in Tucumcari, but in the distance I saw Loretta’s welcoming neon sign.?We entered a super-clean and cute little family owned place, seated and waited on promptly. Breakfast tacos for my husband, breakfast burrito for me. It was like my abuelita made it, so fresh and good. I took most of it home. The coffee was hot and delicious. The tacos and burritos are loaded with eggs, bacon, and potatoes. We left extremely satisfied. The prices are great, the bathroom scrupulously clean.I’m bummed that we don’t have a place like this closer to me, but if you’re in or passing through Tucumcari hit Loretta up for lunch or brekkie. I honestly believe you won’t be sorry! She will answer any questions quickly through Messenger. She’s on Facebook.Vegetarian options: Many of her lunch and dinner plates can be made without meat. Check out her Facebook page. I believe she mentions them."

I ordered the chili rellenos, and my husband had a burrito. We left feeling satisfied and wishing we didn't live 600 miles away. We can't wait to return!

Dropped in passing through to Arizona. This will now be a stop for us every time we come through this way. Home cooked and tastes like nana’s bringing back happy memories. Excellent service, prices, and savory. Don’t pass this one by

I chose to visit this restaurant after noticing its 4-star rating, and I was not disappointed. The food was excellent, the service was quick, and I even had the pleasure of meeting Loretta herself! I would definitely come back, 10/10!

This is a wonderful little place with GREAT food at good prices. The STREET TACO is FANTASTIC! And Loretta actually prepares the food. The place was very clean and in excellent repair. The atmosphere was inviting. We will definitely be back! View menu

Loretta's is awesome! We visit in person quite often for a bite to eat or order to go. Her staff are super friendly and the food is delicious! You have to try her homemade salsa with chips and get a breakfast burrito with the fixings (cheese and green chile). Yummy!

I have a lot of affection for this place, but unfortunately, the daily specials we were looking forward to weren’t available. The stacked replacement enchiladas, which may have been microwaved, weren’t quite what we hoped for—despite ordering green, we were initially served red. They didn't really deliver on the promise of great authentic New Mexico food. The green sauce in the bean burrito was fantastic, though it felt watered down when served on the plate. Two of the servers were sweet and kind, while one didn’t seem friendly at all. But we all have off days, right?
