"First time going here. Best choice we made. First of the service from the girl at the register was excellent. She guided us to the best choices and gave us her opinion on what to order as we asked for it. The place is clean and the service is great. The food now was delicious. Very good flavor and large portions. Loved how everything was plated. The prices were great and affordable. Will definitely be going back for their Green enchiladas."

Great locals spot for Mexican food in downtown SB. Nothing fancy but great service and food. Personally like the combo dishes but everything is excellent.

This is a great Mexican restaurant! This is their downtown location. It has indoor seating and a great takeout system. Everything is very fresh and well made with an open kitchen where you can watch them cooking your food. Close to State Street, so it's an easy walk.

The only thing better than the presentation was the taste. So good. Had the fish shrimp enchiladas. Very flavorful. The shrimp exploded in my mouth so tasty. We had the guacamole and it was really good. My honey had a guava margarita. Strong and tasty. If we lived here we would be back.

Los Arroyos is fantastic, but the website could use some improvements. Diners appreciate being able to check prices when reviewing the menu. Just a suggestion! The runaway burritos are truly outstanding here. However, the prices could be a bit more competitive. Overall, it’s a clean and pleasant atmosphere with excellent salsa. View menu

Got the chimichanga-beef was plenty and soft, was a great choice. The service was super quick, order directly at counter, pay and 7min later food is at your table! Chips and salsa was provided and made for a snack while you wait. Inside and outdoor seating available. Restroom was clean- note there is only 1. Recommend giving them a try

This place is really awesome Mexican food. I've had the chicken nachos which are amazing and the arroyo burrito with steak. Both really good options if you are looking for a hearty meal. I've heard the quesadillas are really good. I'm going to try that next time I am there. Parking can be a little tight here on the street. Paid lot is probably your best bet.

"THE BEST EMPANADAS ! After our almost one week vacation in Cambria my wife and I decided to make a stopover in Santa Barbara on the way home. A good reason to have dinner and then breakfast at two of our fav spots. Soon after getting settled in our casita at The Eagle Inn we headed straight here to buy some delicious Empanadas.....the best Empanadas we have ever enjoyed ! No problem scoring a parking spot on their small private lot at around 6.30pm. A very pleasant cashier named Florencia helped us with our dinner order at the service counter. We both ordered COMBOS...2 Empanadas side of choice and 3 Empanadas side of choice. My wife chose 1 x Pollo Pulled free-range Mary's chicken, onions and bell peppers , 1 x Serrano Prosciutto ham, mozzarella, garlic, wild arugula and a side of Chimi Papas Chimichurri oven roasted potatoes, spices, topped with aioli sauce . I selected 1 x Carne Sunfed Ranch grass-fed ground beef, onions, bell peppers, green olives and free-range hard-boiled egg , 1 x Serrano, 1 x Hongas Crimini mushrooms, organic spinach, caramelized red onions, mozzarella and a side of Chimi Papas. On any other day in warmer weather we probably would have dined here but it was getting late and the weather was pretty lousy. PRETTY QUICK ! There were a couple of walk-in pickups while we waited but apart from that it was pretty quiet. Florencia neatly packed our dinner order into take-out boxes and placed them on the counter. We paid and headed back to home base....The Eagle Inn. By 7pm we had it all ready to eat on the little table in our courtyard. Of course I brought my own beer to enjoy with dinner. WHAT CAN I SAY ! When you buy the best Empanadas you can't go wrong. I personally loved the Carne the best and the Serrano is always a winner but trust me they are all great. The delicious Chimi Papas with the provided side sauces tasted fabulous. VERY HARD TO BEAT !"
