Perfect shop with absolutely fantastic flavors. Had the hot chicken with fries and Mac with cheese. Loved it. Will be returning every trip through Louisville.

Amazing food, great service. We got hot tenders, no heat tenders, pulled pork, fries, smoked wings, coleslaw, a sampling of sauces and fried Oreos. All were great. You get a lot of food for the price and it was all well worth getting again. Louis sauce with the chicken can't be beat. View menu

So the chicken and wings were so good we ate it before I remembered to take a picture. This is some of the best chicken I have ever eaten. We got the medium heat and was seasoned perfect. We even made a special trip from Shepherdsville to Louisville to get it. The Mac n cheese and baked beans were very good too.

Was craving some really good chicken and this place had good reviews. Let me just say they are well deserved. I got the spicy chicken sandwich with Mac n' cheese and Coleslaw. My fiancé got the large dark meat plate with green beans and Mac n' cheese. Portions were big and everything was so delicious! Will definitely be back!

Great menu. Unique selections with local theme. The regular hot chicken Tenders made for a great sandwich with very good, but not too much heat. The baked beans were pretty much standard and forgettable. The smoked wings were fantastic. The only downside was that even though there are a couple of picnic tables outside, there was no restrooms for patons. View menu

Louie's Hot Chicken and BBQ is absolutely fantastic! I appreciate how they package everything separately to prevent the flavors from mixing. The bread was wiped clean before being packed. The sauces came in lidded containers, which was great. Everything was incredibly flavorful and delicious! I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely be returning.

If you find yourself traveling through the food desert known as Louisville, take a detour and stop by Louie’s. I ordered the full chicken, spicy, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. When you're in Kentucky, famous for its fried chicken, you naturally expect something exceptional. Louie’s is definitely a fantastic stop, and it's worth the 20-minute wait for a freshly prepared meal. If the team at Louie’s is reading this, keep up the great work!

I've been to this restaurant twice now. During my first visit, I ordered the hot chicken, which turned out to be spicier than I anticipated, and I thought I might not return. However, I decided to give it another chance yesterday. This time, I went for some wings, a side of sauce, and a small corn on the cob. I have to say that their wings are among the best I've ever had—smoked and absolutely delicious! I wasn't sure what to expect with the corn, but they seem to deep fry it, and it was very tasty. I'll definitely be coming back in the future to try the pulled pork and grab more of those wings. They are a bit on the pricey side, but in my opinion, they're worth it. View menu
