Lubi's Hot Subs - Menu

The Lubi sandwich is incredible. Such different taste all in one. I was so happy I could order this during breakfast hours using the fast drive through. I try to get one when on Beach Blvd.

The food was fabulous. I asked what they were known for which was the hot sub number 2. It had hot peppers and yes, I needed a knife and fork to eat. So delicious! I also had a cold sub, a cold cut sub. The cold sub was good as well. High recommendation if you ever come to visit Jacksonville Florida.

So wickedly delish. Nothing fancy just good food, great customer service and the best cherry limeaide ever. This is one of those Jacksonville gems that you might drive right by if you go strictly by the exterior. I used to go to the one on University Blvd for lunch in my 20s and loved it! I'm now in my 60s... just happened to see it on Beach Blvd one day and wondered how much it had changed. Today we went to find and I am thrilled to report the mozzarella Lubi, fully loaded, is exactly the same and just as yummy as it used to be. Thank you for for not changing!! It was wonderful and we will definitely be back! :

This is definitely our favorite sandwich in the world, in our old hometown. We raced over here to experience, the world famous Lubi Mozzarella Sub which we adore!! Every bitefull was divine!! We also ordered two of their delightful addicting cheese spread with bags of garlic bread toasties. We learned we could freeze the cheese which did on our way back to Alabama. It was heaven as always!! We are still savoring the cheese spread and toasties!!

I was at Lubi's Hot Subs first time their we Ordered a regular Lubi. Person pulled out sub in foil from maybe a warmer. I was expecting it to be made to order like a real cheese stake. Sub was greasy and didn't have much cheese they used craft singles cheese wow and not provolone and they put it on a hot dog bun instead of a sub roll and they don't serve fry's . I will not be going back nor worth the money we spent going to drive further out to a real cheese stake joint. View menu

Thrill Da Playa of the 69 Boyz introduced me to this place years ago while we were touring and I fell in love.. and I have never changed my order, the Mozzarella all the way and a Cherry Limeade.. same order, every time and for over ten years now.. sad to see the University location close, but, extremely happy there’s still this Beach location.. this place should be a Jacksonville landmark and any and every time I come here I swing by Lubi’s to introduce my company to it

My partner, a Jacksonville native who spent her childhood there, took me on a trip a couple of years ago and couldn’t stop raving about a delicious steak sub called a Lubi. I was skeptical—having grown up on Dan’s Steak Subs in Fort Lauderdale, I couldn't imagine anything measuring up. However, I'm here to say that the Lubi, a steamed sub, surpasses all other meat subs. It outshines steak sandwiches, loose meat sandwiches, and even Philly cheesesteaks. The Lubi truly reigns supreme. So, hop in your car, boat, plane, motorcycle, or train and make your way to Jacksonville, Florida to try a Lubi. You’ll thank me later!

Lubi's is a hidden gem I discovered while visiting Jacksonville on a Saturday. It's easy to miss if you're driving by, but I'm so glad I noticed it and decided to look it up. The online reviews convinced me, and I knew I had to try this place. I ordered the Famous Lubi for $8.99, and it was packed with amazing flavors: ground beef, American cheese, fresh onions, all served on a steamed sub roll. I added some of their famous homemade hot peppers, which really enhanced the taste. The Lubi was hot, messy, and dripped all over my fingers, but it was absolutely fantastic.
