"It is what it is…And for what this place is, it deserves 5 stars. Chinese food is not my favorite. I feel this is from the times I was let down by other places. Lucky chef Chen has restored some faith in the cuisine. Everything was really tasty. The portions were of good size. I rarely ever finish the lo mein from anywhere but I ate ever last noodle. The people serving were also very kind. It’s not the best but very far from the worst. If you’re looking for affordable Chinese food that seems to be cooked with a dash of love . It’s worth a try. Lunch deals and closing time deals available ."

You definitely get your money's worth here, as the portions are generous and they don't hold back on the amount of food they serve.

The food here is outstanding—truly some of the best Chinese cuisine I’ve had in the Bay Area. I highly recommend checking it out! Overall food rating: 4/5.

This restaurant is located in a rough area, but the food is abundant and delicious! I will definitely be coming back for more, although you'll need to stay alert.

The old woman is very disrespectful. I couldn’t understand what she was saying and she waved me away. There was also hair in my food!! Do not waste your money here!!! View menu

Great hole in the wall Chinese fast food in Fruitvale. The food is fresh and delicious, portions are huge, and the staff are kind. Best of all unbelievable value for your money. Highly recommend!

The food is delicious with a wide variety of options available. The prices are reasonable, and the minimum charge for credit card payments is quite low. Plus, you can enjoy your meal on-site. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.

I wish I had heeded someone else's warning about the shrimp; it was truly inedible. I can't recommend the prawns unless you're fine with dealing with fried shrimp that still have their shells and heads on. They really should peel and devein the shrimp before frying! My first bite was mushy and hardly warm. On a positive note, the wonton soup was quite good, and the combination plate I got with egg rolls was pleasant. The egg rolls had a delightful ginger flavor. However, the chow mein was a bit greasy, which is fairly typical for chow mein. View menu

I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you're using the Too Good To Go app. I haven't tasted their food fresh yet, but the portion sizes for the price you pay are quite impressive. The family that operates the restaurant is incredibly warm and welcoming. Although I’m on a tight budget, I love supporting local businesses. It can be frustrating when local spots have prices that only affluent customers can afford. It feels great to know that my money is going to good people and that I'm really getting my money's worth. I strongly encourage you to check it out!
