"Updated review: I believe this is now my favorite restaurant in the Bay Area. We went for dinner tonight and it was packed, as usual. However, the manager made sure that people were seated in the right order. The food was as delicious as always. The mushrooms and chicken were even more flavorful than usual. This place is amazing. As a half Palestinian, the food reminded me of my upbringing. I highly recommend the mezza platter with hummus, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh salad, and falafel. My husband tried the chicken shawarma wrap and chicken kebab, and he loved it. The beet salad is also delicious, especially with added oyster mushrooms. There are plenty of vegan and plant-based options available. I particularly love the fries. The kebabs are also fantastic. The roasted veggies could be improved with less garlic, but they are still tasty. There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options clearly marked on the menu. Parking is limited, but street parking is usually available within a block's walk. Highly recommend this restaurant."

"Sooo, let me take a trip down memory lane. Went to the Hidden spot for date night with my lady a couple months back. Even though it was a couple months back, the food was not easily forgotten. Everything that was ordered was excellent.Fries were crisp and had a good balance of seasoning. The Empire sandwich had great bite to it. The chicken tenders in the sandwich wasn’t soggy from the dressing. And it wasn’t dried out. The Hero burger had great kick to it but the sriracha wasn’t crazy hot. It complemented the sauce perfectly. The lemon pepper wings were very lemony/peppery, but I like that. Not sure if it’ll be too much for other people. All in all it was a great date night. The only negative I can see is that it’s in a bar. I won’t be able to take the kids here and taking it togo diminishes the food. You gotta eat there right when it comes out of the kitchen. And since I’m writing this review a couple months back, I think it’s time to visit this place again."

"I craved good Mexican food and this place was nearby with good reviews so I decided to give it a try. The first time I went here I ordered the tostada ceviche and a shrimp taco. I'm very particular about my ceviche and this place made it excellent. A little too much lime but better to be that way than to be fishy. The shrimp taco was okay. I think it would've been better if it had a lime on it. It was too fishy for my taste. But I normally drench my fish in lime to begin with. So to each their own. Most of the time it's free chips and salsa. The green is the mild/medium and it's really not that spicy. But the red one definitely has a kick! The second time I went I ordered the bean and cheese burrito and a carne asada taco. It was soooo delicious. My friend ordered a veggie burrito and loved it. It was huge!! I honestly think the amount they charge here and the amount of food you get here is totally worth it. The people are also super friendly and nice. If I'm back in the area I'd definitely stop on by. Parking kinda sucks during busy hours but well worth it on it's off times!"

"I stopped by Jack's for some great food, and as always, it didn't disappoint. I've been coming here for over seven years, and the experience is consistently excellent. This time, we ordered the Pot Roast and Chicken Marsala with polenta, both of which were fantastic. What stood out most, however, was the exceptional service from our server, Karla. She took our drink orders almost immediately after we were seated and returned promptly to take our food orders. We didn't have to wait long, which was great since we were starving. Kimberly, one of the managers, kindly asked us to move over one table to accommodate a large party of 12. To show her appreciation, she offered us dessert on the house. Kimberly was incredibly gracious, and we decided to share the crème brûlée, which was as good as any I've ever had. Jack's continues to impress. A big thank you to Karla and Kimberly for making our visit special."
