"Oooooh yes. This place is a welcome local joint in quite a hub of great restaurants. High quality seafood, simple menu, and it?s super tasty without a horrible price tag. This is my third visit over the years (just a guest in town and I keep coming back. Most recently enjoyed their roll trio. You get smaller version of the basic shrimp roll, crab roll, and lobster roll. YUM.Personally, the lobster roll remains king. But the others were really good. And the trio is a perfect answer to the indecisive.: Overall, great food in a quaint sea shack. Highly recommend!"

There are only a limited number of seats available, but aside from that, the staff is wonderful and the food is fantastic.

I purchased the trio, and it was awful. The bread was stale, and the lobster was not fresh. I bought rolls from Lukes and Masons at the Wharf, and Mason won. The lobster was fresh, and the roll was excellent.

Loved the lobster, the bisque and the refreshing poppyseeds slaw. Everything was perfect. We'll I didn't like the oyster biscuits that came with the soup but I thought the soup was perfect on its own anyway. Highly recommended! Will definitely gowhenever I'm back in the US! View menu

Great things come in small packages! This cozy little spot packs a big punch when it comes to flavor. I tried the lobster roll, which was buttery and absolutely delicious. My wife had the shrimp roll, bursting with flavor. I was truly impressed by how fantastic this place is!

Lobster was excellent and clam chowder was really good. Wish I would have ordered more of the clam chowder. It is pricey but the price is very comparable to market price for lobster. Only recommendation would be to add a sour dough bowl option for clamchowder. Staff was super helpful and friendly.

Family and I were visiting from Texas and all of us wanted to try out first lobster roll. Luke?s did not disappoint. Lots of lobster on all of our rolls. Derek was our cashier who suggested the lobster butter trifle roll. So yummy! Derek was polite andpatient with us crazy Texans. We have not met many people like that here in DC so far unfortunately. We will have to go grabanother roll before we leave. Yummy! View menu

I visit this restaurant regularly and really enjoy it, but I had a disappointing experience last Monday, April 15, when I ordered a lobster roll through DoorDash. Unfortunately, the lobster meat was overcooked, making it so dry that it crumbled apart like decaying wood. I was quite disappointed. That said, I’m not deterred from returning to Luke's, as this was the first time I’ve had an issue, and my previous experiences with the food and service have always been excellent.

I gotta say I balked at the idea of spending $26 on a piece of toast. But must admit, this was very tasty. I ordered the regular lobster roll if I did it over, I'd order the hot butter roll. I think the lobster would be nicer warm. But it was very verytasty cold. They really pile the lobster on, too. And spices compliment it well. Is it $26 good? I suppose that depends how muchyou like lobster and how much you have in the bank. Clam chowder was just ok but im not the biggest fan of clam chowder. Sameverdict on coleslaw. Lobster roll was delicious though ????
