"I am only giving this restaurant one star because a rating must be chosen. If it were up to me, I would give it zero stars. My husband usually gets Chinese food for lunch at work, typically a huh combo with white rice. However, after eating it at 9pm, he started vomiting at 3am and had to be sent home from work. The next day, he was unable to sleep and was throwing up every 20 minutes, experiencing uncontrollable shaking in the bathroom and sweating profusely. I feel terrible for my husband. The restaurant should consider closing until they can identify what is making people sick. I will never purchase food from there again. If anyone is looking for good Chinese food, there is a place in Shamokin worth trying instead."

"Today, when I went to Metucci's, it was to celebrate a personal accomplishment. I first went there in 1978, and I've been there a number of times since. Forget Olive Garden. This is the real deal. It's like stepping back into time and experiencing whatit's like to eat in the dining room of an old Italian home. It's very relaxing. Very comforting. I've always had greatservice here. Which is why I keep coming back. But today was a little different. This is the first time I've been to arestaurant, by myself, since my wife passed away 3 years ago. I've been putting it off, because I knew it would be difficult.However, my server today was Ashley. She really blessed me today with her level of energy, her personality, and her grace. Sheimpressed me so much that she joined the ranks of the best servers I've ever had, with 2 others, a server from Hotel Hershey,and Scott's (a former restaurant in downtown Harrisburg). She made my day, and greatly enhanced my experience today. The meal Igot today was great and arrived fairly quickly. Compared to some other Italian restaurants, Metucci's gives bigger portions, andthe quality is so much better. Along with the ambience, it is just a great dining experience. The result of small town living.This is rapidly unraveling. Take advantage of it while you can. Soak it up. Revel in it. Celebrate it. It's the remnant of abygone era in our history."

"I've been to Mt. Carmel twice in the last month because of a family house thing, and both times asked the locals where was a good place to eat in Mt. Carmel. All of the 5 people said there was nowhere really good to eat in this town but one mentioned this place. The store is nostalgic and clean and the staff was very friendly and I was honestly expecting bad food for the price, but the food was absolutely amazing! Mt. Carmel has at least one really good place to eat and I will get food from there every time I come back"

"First come, first served? What kind of restaurant tells you they don't have enough food to serve you? I can't just walk in and order 20 breakfast sandwiches every day. Now I have to worry that they might run out of food. Considering that I tip generously every day, more than the standard percentage, I find this really ridiculous. There's always an explanation for everything. Maybe you should take a look at the freebies you hand out; perhaps that would free up enough food so I won’t have to drive to Elysburg every morning."
