"Upon our arrival, the hostess guided us to our table and provided us with menus. Many tables were busy with diners. The food was very good, but the service left something to be desired. We noticed that only two servers were managing all the occupied tables, which made it difficult for them to keep up. For instance, I had to ask our server, Vanessa, to refill my empty drink, even though she passed by our table numerous times. Additionally, my dessert arrived without certain components that were listed on the menu, and the missing items were not explained to us. At the end of March 2022, we observed that none of the staff were wearing face masks, and while some male patrons donned masks as they entered and exited the restaurant, most did not. We entered the restaurant wearing masks and kept them on until we were seated. When we inquired whether wearing masks had an effect on our service, the server came over to take our drink orders. I requested an unsweetened iced tea, while my wife ordered hot tea. Unfortunately, her tea arrived as a cup of hot water rather than a small teapot. We began our meal with an appetizer called Pepperoni Rossi alla Griglia, featuring house-roasted red peppers with garlic and extra virgin olive oil, served chilled with a piece of bread. We each enjoyed a serving of wedding soup with our bread. For our main course, we ordered the Quattro Stagioni Pizza, which has a margherita base (tomato and mozzarella cheese) topped with sausage, artichokes, and roasted red pepper slices. It was delicious! The sausage was mild, and my wife enjoyed her meal so much that she took some leftovers home for dessert. I added a few red pepper flakes from the table to give my pizza a bit more heat, and I finished my pizza at the restaurant because we truly enjoyed it. For dessert, my wife chose the Napolean Limone, which she paired with a glass of wine. It was fantastic! The Napolean Limone consists of homemade lemon puff pastries topped with whipped cream and raspberry sauce. I opted for the Toni Spumoni, which the menu claims is the best in the country. However, while my dessert included the spumoni ice cream, it did not come with the whipped cream and candied cherries as promised. I was disappointed as it did not live up to its reputation. Overall, the food was good, and the atmosphere and decor were lovely. The restaurant is very clean, with two unisex restrooms— the one I used was well-maintained. I believe the service could significantly improve with a few more servers, especially when the restaurant is nearly full, although I understand that business varies. Next time, we may just opt for takeout pizza instead of dining in, as we feel the table service could be more reliable."
