"I’m quite disappointed with my recent experience at Nori, especially since I've always enjoyed great service in the past. I placed a $100 takeout order, and when we got home, nearly all of our rolls were soaked in a sweet sauce, making them impossible to eat with chopsticks as they just fell apart. I called to discuss the issue, and while Jared, the person I spoke with, was very kind and understanding, he wasn’t in a position to make decisions regarding our situation. At one point, I overheard him asking someone in the background, “Well, we have to help them, right?” which made it clear to me that the decision-maker wasn’t interested in assisting us at all. In the end, they offered us two free rolls, which felt quite insulting given that we had $80 worth of ruined food. I didn’t want to argue with someone who was trying to help, but I seldom leave negative reviews, and this experience has really stood out to me. It’s unfortunate, but I won’t be returning, and I want to caution others that you shouldn’t expect good customer service if something goes wrong."
