"Time to hit the buffet!  This time it was a visit to the Mandarin Buffet and Grill in Redmond, WA for a birthday party.  It was my husbands' grandma's birthday and we wanted to do something special and we wanted to be able to accommodate our large group.  They have a party room we were able to reserve for a couple of hours.  The space was just the right size and it seemed a little far from the other tables to give us that separation we needed.  As for the food, the price seemed ok at twenty per person for dinner, in comparison to some other Asian buffets in the Seattle area.  There was a nice selection of sushi, which I probably enjoyed the most out of everything.  Some of the food was a miss though and luckily, the chocolate fountain saved the day and was the highlight for me and my sons.  A chocolate fountain says celebration and how can you not be happy when you're dipping marshmallows and strawberries in chocolate?  The service was just ok, as they didn't offer drink refills and they let our empty plates pile up.  But in the end, everyone was happy and grandma had a really special birthday!"

The variety is sushi is awesome very very rare in buffet. There are so many varieties of dishes that it is impossible to taste all in one go.

Clean with lost of options with great flavors. My only complaint, which is consistent with other buffets, is that the food is often warm, not hot. View menu

Noodles and garlic green beans were very good! Add in the fact that they had a chocolate fountain with strawberries and marshmallows and this buffet was really good!

It is a good place to eat, it has many food options, but it is too expensive and after 4:00 pm it is even more expensive, and they charge you a 10% service charge at once. View menu

Mongolian grill type bar with self-serve meats, vegetables, noodles and sauces where the cook will make the dish for you behind the grill. Hot entrée with meat and vegetables, soups (usually 4 kinds), rice, noodles, a few steamed dim sum and usually a few American food such as fries, pizza, garlic toasts.

Decent Buffet. Relatively inexpensive, clean, well lit buffet restaurant which offers a mix of Chinese, Japanese (average but broad selection of sushi), and a few American dishes (such as cheese pizza).<br/ <br/ They also incorporate a Mongolian grill.<br/ <br/ Wait staff is attentive and prompt.<br/ <br/ Dishes range from a boring, over-sauced Kung Pao Chicken and Vegetables to excellent baked mussels, tender frog legs, smokey grilled whole fish and a spicy pork and vegetable stir fry.<br/ <br/ If you're not particularly interested in anything else, at least we again have a small but mostly sufficient, all-you can-eat Mongolian Grill in Bellevue/Redmond area.<br/ <br/ Overall: Acceptable fo...

"We 've ordered from this Garlic Crush location for some two years and always enjoyed the food. However, their quality in service and portions has steadily declined. Today 's experience will be our final one. I just picked up an order that included the kid 's kefta plate which according to their website comes: with hummus. Includes a small drink, pita bread, and your choice of rice, fries, or salad. We have ordered this item before and were satisfied customers. This is why we ordered it again, and the attached photo is why we are upset. No rice and dry meat. Mistakes happen, so I called to notify staff and see if I can swing back by to pick up rice. The staff member that answered was rude and dismissive. He said that an order of extra pita (why by the way, is a separate line item on our receipt) somehow...exempted us from getting the rice we paid for? I expressed confusion, even reading off the menu description, but he double downed that the extra pita requested would exempt the rice paid for (so two purchases would give one item). Then he told me to just order (and pay again) another side of rice or reorder the kefta plate. In other words, there was no solution. Mistakes happen, things get busy, whatever. But the restaurant was not busy this afternoon and the response I got was not okay. This location has become increasingly problematic with missing items and no basic foundation of customer service. Good luck if you get what you pay for."
