Embassy Suites Tampa Brandon

Good food in relaxed atmosphere. It’s in the Embassy Suites so very convenient to our hotel next door. We had dinner and drinks both nights we stayed there. Food was good and reasonably priced. Gina was our bartender/server the second night. She did a great job. Sandwiches, salads and burgers were all very good.

We stayed here a night. The rooms are huge. The help go out of their way to serve you in what you need help with. Kind, polite, they're just so pleasant. I felt like royalty. The buffet breakfast was very good. Once again they were there to assist you with whatever you needed done. The rooms were clean, big, and comfortable. I don't sleep well away from home but I really did well here. I would give them 7 stars if I could.

The service at Embassy Suites Hotel is amazing. The managers, especially Vincent McKenzie, are polite and friendly. The breakfast offers a great variety of well-cooked options, including delicious omelettes and waffles made by the chef. During cocktail hour, guests can enjoy excellent snacks and drinks. The cleaning crew is delightful and kind. This hotel has truly enhanced our trip and I highly recommend it to everyone. 5 stars for Embassy Suites Hotel, where you will feel like you're in paradise. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming.

I am not here to give a negative review, but I believe the bartender working nights needs to be changed. I did not catch her name, but it is not important because I am sure I am not the only guest who has had issues with her. I refrained from asking her about a charge on my bill due to her rude treatment of other guests. I am glad I did not, as I overheard her snide response at the front desk. I suggest retraining her or assigning her to a position where she does not interact with guests. Furthermore, her comment about the previous bartender using up all the olive juice and being "on the spectrum" was unacceptable. Beware!! They fool you with the lobby area and free breakfast buffet, but this hotel is in desperate need of renovation. I was extremely disappointed in the rooms! They look like they haven't been updated or deep cleaned since the 90s. The newest item in the entire suite were the HDTVs. The carpet was filthy, hair was all over the bathroom and I had to track down the cleaning crew to get facial tissues. There were stains on the bed skirts, mattresses were not comfortable and the A/C unit didn't really cool the room until you set it to 67 degrees or lower! Outstanding hotel! Conveniently located near major roads, restaurants and entertainment. Bass Pro, IFly and Top Golf are right down the road. The property is in quiet area which is nice. The staff overall were great. Friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The room was well maintained though in certain areas the age of the hotel is showing a little. Housekeeping did a good job and kept the rooms clean and on a regular schedule. The restaurant had a good selection and even had specials. Where can I start. I guess I could state that the employees of the facility were nice and pleasant. Other than that every other amenity in this hotel was absolutely horrible. It would be a numerous amount of things from the bedsheets feeling like they are old drapes from a castle, to the shower not providing hot water. I left it run for six minutes. The smoke detector going off at 1 AM in the morning. Having to move rooms because no maintenance men are on site at night.
