"I found this place by complete accident. But what a happy accident. I ordered sweet tea, Jalapeño Stuffed peppers, and Chicken Marsala. The sweet tea was a pleasant surprise as it was honey sweetened tea. The Jalapeño Peppers were amazing as I could easily tell they used a high quality cheddar cheese! Now the Chicken Marsala is the star of the show, at first look I saw very little parmesan on it but the dish comes with in house bread and parmesan so that you could add more as you wished. Let me tell you, this dish was an example of the most impressive Italian cuisine I have ever eaten. The broth was flavorful and rich. the noodles were springy and light that left a pleasant mouth feel. The chicken itself I could tell was charcoal cooked and very fresh. I spoke with the owner to talk about how impressed I was with the dishes and the freshness. He told me they pride themselves on procuring the freshest ingredients possible and was of course pleased that I thoroughly enjoyed myself. All in all do not come here looking for cheap Italian food. Come here looking to experience REAL Italian cuisine! Its not the worst but its down there . I got the chicken parm the chicken was soggy on the outside, crunchy in the middle and cold, the cheese was stiff like when you leave it out to sit and it rehardens. After eating it I felt like I was gonna throw up. The service was good though because there wasn't that many people in there and the employees were nice its just the food that sucked for me. Dasher did a fantastic job with the delivery. However, the main issue at Marcos is their lack of consistency. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana pasta, and it honestly felt like I was paying $18 for a plate of spaghetti! There were only two small chicken tenders included. If Marcos had consistent quality, ordering delivery from them wouldn’t be such a gamble. It’s not a bad place to dine in, where issues can be addressed more easily, but you should expect to encounter problems. Unfortunately, they have struggled with this consistency issue for years. My wife and I visited the restaurant when it had just opened for the day, and we were the only customers at the time. The food was tasty, but we encountered some issues with the service. When the waitress came to check on us, she asked if everything was okay, but before we could respond, she turned and walked away. Later, when she returned to refill my drink, she just placed my cup down on the table without much attention to detail. What bothered us the most was when she reached over our plates to hand me a to-go box; it’s really not polite to reach over someone’s food. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 4.

I've lived in Davie County longer than Marcos has been in business, and I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve never eaten at this restaurant—until today. I can now say that Marcos' food is absolutely delicious! Despite living over 10 miles away, the food arrived hot, my order was perfectly correct, and they took special care to package my ranch dressing to prevent any spills. It’s frustrating how often you specify details in the comments section or check boxes to modify ingredients, only for your order to be wrong. Both of our items had specific requests noted, and Marcos really paid attention to get our order right. We will definitely be returning customers!
