Very pleasant ambient. Great macchiato, and the food is absolutely well-prepared. A bit pricey, but worth the flavors. Be aware that the portions are small; not the best choice if you are hungry, unless you ask many menu items; they work better as appetizers, at least on the brunch menu.

This restaurant raises the standards significantly. Their wine selection is unique yet impressive. The chef, bar, and staff create a wonderfully sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere that results in a truly exceptional experience. Seattle has many excellent dining options, but this one truly distinguishes itself.

The restaurant had a very pretentious vibe. The service left much to be desired; our waitress either ignored us or the place was simply understaffed. The bread was stale, and the entrees did not impress me. Given the prices they charge, I expected a much higher quality experience. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5. View menu

Great little spot in the alley and nice chill setup for two. Great ambiance and food for me was different from my usual tasting but it's very unique and the staff was friendly. The heater above the table keeps you warm and the tent helps keep the tunnel winds away from you. They had the street closed but found parking on the street across no biggie

As good as it's reputation. The food was quite sensational and the place has a great vibe. The sturgeon was particularly fabulous. One super minor quibble. We sat at the chef's counter and saw our dinner plated, but instead of giving it straight to us it sat for 5 minutes before the wait staff found it. So it could have been hotter. But like I said .. minor. Will be back soon

Wonderful cocktails, decent French inspired cuisine in the heart of Capitol Hill. I would award 5 stars just on the cocktails alone however the food, although decent in flavor, was not mind blowing. Our potato chips were overly salted, however this was quickly rectified when notifying the staff and was comped. Overall wonderful service and I would be back for the cocktails for sure View menu

Wow! The service, food, and wine here are absolutely fantastic. We started with the brut sparkling wine, followed by Chardonnay and a red blend from DeLille. For our meal, we enjoyed the Belge salad, scallops, Jerusalem artichoke chips, buttered bread, salmon Napoleon, and roasted pheasant with fruit compote. Everything was delightful. My personal favorites were the pheasant, Jerusalem chips, and the scallops.

Wow! It’s been ages since I explored Seattle. I decided to walk to my favorite store, Retrofit Home, and unexpectedly discovered this amazing place for Sunday brunch. Who can resist freshly made potato chips? They included them in a fluffy omelet that had just the right amount of cheese and chives, perfectly complemented by deliciously seasoned sausage. Have I died and gone to heaven? My taste buds are ecstatic! And I can't forget to mention the blueberry limeade—it was both tart and sweet! Thank you for making my day!

One of the hidden gems in Capitol Hill, Marmite truly impressed us during our second visit, especially since it was on Valentine's Day. The restaurant had a cozy and quiet ambiance, making it the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. The food was outstanding, featuring a four-course menu complete with a dessert for two. While wine pairing was offered, it was optional. I felt completely at ease throughout the evening, not just because of the stunning interior design, but also due to the exceptional and attentive service from the staff.
