Maru has a new location! Next door to the old place. Same layout same tables same great food. I love this place!

I really enjoyed the spicy bastards and the mackerel. Additionally, the variety of side dishes is impressive, making it a great value for the delightful flavors you get.

Absolutely fantastic! I ordered the bibimbap with vegetables, short rib, and an egg, served in a hot stone dish. Everything was delicious and served hot, and the rice became perfectly crispy as I ate. The house salad was fresh, featuring a mix of spring greens and Romaine with a variety of vegetables, and the dressing was excellent. I highly recommend the barley tea as well. This is, without a doubt, the most authentic and charming Korean restaurant I've experienced in the DMV area. The owners are genuinely passionate about their establishment, and I've never been disappointed by the food. The staff is polite, and the portion sizes are generous. Although the seating is limited, I've never had to wait for a table. If you're looking to try something new or craving some serious comfort food, definitely give this place a visit—you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Best Korean food in Vienna! If you're strolling along Maple Ave and craving Korean cuisine, this is a fantastic option. Unlike typical Korean BBQ joints or trendy roasted chicken spots, this restaurant focuses on traditional dishes. We didn’t try the sushi, but we did indulge in the Korean specialties, and everything was delicious. They do serve alcohol, but you can also bring your own for a $5 per person corkage fee. There's plenty of parking in the back, so arrive early. The service is quick!

We were excited to see sushi rolls with real crab meat because we hate imitation crab meat. So we ordered the Maryland California Roll (that should come with blue crab meat) for 9.99 and a Spider Roll (that should contain soft shell crab) for $13.99. Neither came with the real crab meat, and instead the imitation had crab meat! I could also pay $5.95 for the California Roll because that's exactly what we have! We also ordered another Maru Roll that looks good. But the other stuff was a complete break for the price. Unfortunately, we took this order so that we realized the disappointment when we came home!

I've even visited for lunch on my own and tried their bento boxes, which are available from Tuesday to Sunday between 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM. They're an incredible value for the amount of food you receive! I also appreciate that many of their dishes come with a house salad (the dressing is delightful) and miso soup. The menu is quite extensive, making it perfect for groups since there’s something for everyone. However, the restaurant doesn't have a lot of tables, so it can feel quite cozy and tends to get busy during peak hours. My husband and I love coming here as it’s close to us and a place where we can get both sushi and Korean food. My husband isn’t the biggest fan of sushi so it’s great that he has so many different options while I can get my sashimi, specialty rolls (I.e., Love Roll) or salmon avocado rolls. He loves their spicy stir fry squid, sundubu, or kimchi jjigae. Their bibimbap is also really good and when we want to splurge we would get the galbi.
