"I have been going to this location for many years. I remember this restaurant actually being one of the better McDonald's locations around New Orleans, but in recent years it has heavily declined. The drinks are almost always wrong, or just straight up carbonation with no flavor, if they even have the drink you want. Never count on them having any item that needs ice cream, they don't have it/don't want to make it. They close earlier than the posted times too. My one star is for the speed of service, which is usually fast."

Been coming to this McDonalds for years because it’s the closest, and they literally never put salt on the fries. Never. However, staff is usually very nice.

Felt like they were a bit heated over something but they didn't get my order completely wrong and even tho they told me everything I said I wanted they still were missing a few things but on the bright side the ice cream machine was working fromwhat I saw and they only charged me for what I got so I see it as a win and the sky is the limit from here ????????

The customer service at this McDonald’s is beyond God awful. When my mother and I pulled up to order our food, the cashier’s attitude was as stale and rude as ever. It was pretty apparent she despises her job. When we pulled up to the 2nd window for the food, the girl might as well just hurled the bag to us. Not a smile, thank you, nothing. This Destrehan location REQUIRES a visit from corporate, because it has been like this with the poor customer service for quite some time!
