We visited for brunch and it was fantastic. The outdoor seating provided nice shade, accompanied by enjoyable live music in the background. The staff was friendly and recommended excellent food choices. We tried the chicken salad and beet salad, both of which were refreshing and perfect for a warm, sunny Sunday brunch in Ojai. Wow, Meiners Heritage Table is amazing! I was incredibly comfortable there; it felt just like having a BBQ in my own backyard with my best friends! The bartender offers some fantastic specialty drinks, and the Oak Fire meats and vegetables are absolutely delicious! I heard that Chris Ritke bakes the fresh bread daily, which is a real treat! Juliana is an outstanding server, and the owner, Chelsea Geyer, welcomes you with a warm hug! When I visited, there was live music by Ben Betner, and I've heard they have live performances every weekend! I'll definitely be coming back and sending my clients here as well!

My wife and I enjoyed dinner at this restaurant after having cocktails at the bar on a Thursday evening. The martinis were excellent and fairly priced. My wife chose the halibut, while I opted for the filet mignon, both served with grilled vegetables. We paired our meal with wine. My filet was cooked rare, just as I requested, and it was fantastic alongside the vegetables and mashed potatoes. Although the menu stated that the filet was 8 oz., mine was actually between 10 and 12 oz. and incredibly tender. It was a delightful night in a quiet, charming patio setting. Our server and the owner were both warm and friendly. We will definitely be returning.

My husband tried the Passion Fruit Margarita, and I enjoyed the house Chardonnay – we recommend both! For appetizers, we ordered the Cinderella Pumpkin Bruschetta, which was not only beautifully plated but also delicious, served on wonderfully toasted rustic bread. For our main courses, my husband had the pork chop with crabapple and cherry chutney accompanied by a perfectly smooth sweet potato puree. I opted for the Persimmon Fennel salad, which had incredible flavors. The portions were generous, making it easy to share if desired.
