"We very much appreciate most of the docs and nurses that took over the care of me and the delivery of our daughter. I’m glad they weren’t pushy about certain things and had a fairly “hands off” approach, which is what we preferred. There were a couple of nurses and doctors over our care that were absolutely outstanding and we couldn’t be more grateful for their help. However, there were also a few nurses who weren’t very compassionate and one doctor that really needs to reconsider his profession. We let the doctor know how we felt about the lack of bedside manor and felt that a certain choice was being taken off the table and we did not agree with it at all. After talking things over, we came to terms and made necessary decisions. At the end of it all, we came out of the hospital with a beautiful and healthy baby girl.Overall, would I recommend this hospital for other mamas? Yes.Also- this may sound totally petty to some, but the toilets were extremely low to the ground and made it much more difficult for a very pregnant very postpartum mama to do her business. From what I understood, the L D and Postpartum wings were apart of the old children’s hospital, so it makes sense why they were so low. It’d be awesome if one day those could be replaced."

Perfect! Showed up at the appointed time. Immediately taken to procedure. Procedure went smoothly and without problems. Released with a snack, liquids and have a good day. Everything was well executed, except I didn't get a kiss good bye. Very happy.

The valet service is complimentary for those with handicap placards. The receptionist at the hospital was both helpful and friendly. They also provide free face masks. The nurses and doctors are excellent and highly knowledgeable, and my nephew received outstanding care!

I had nothing but positive interactions with everyone there. I checked in for surgery, surgery had a late start but I was communicated with, so there were no surprises. Each step from recovery, to settling into my room, every nurse, M.A., CNA, was wonderful.I am grateful each one of them was part of my recovery. I’ll be always thankful.

This has been the best medical experience I've had recently. The staff were fantastic and compassionate, making for an overall great visit. I'm very pleased with the service I received. The only downside was the discharge process, which felt a bit rushed—maybe only taking two minutes—and I was simply instructed to read the information provided. Thankfully, as a nurse, I know what to do and what to expect. Other than that, I would give it a perfect 10/10! View menu

Went to the E.R. as a result of a fall. I was admitted and treatment began almost immediately. Fortunately I did not show any internal trauma after a battery of various tests. In the meantime while test results were forthcoming, the people assigned to my care were professional, attentive, and reassuring. I was one nurse in particular that was assigned to me named Alyssa. She was particularly delightful and helpful. My visit to the ER at Methodist Hospital could not have gone any better. They are definitely 5 star rated.

My wife recently gave birth at this hospital, which prompted me to reflect on our experience at the university hospital where we had our second child a while back. In comparison, this hospital felt like a dream. We were genuinely cared for throughout the entire process, and at no point did we feel like an inconvenience or an afterthought. The service was exceptional, delivered by nurses who clearly knew what they were doing, and a midwife whom my wife had been meeting with throughout her pregnancy was there for the birth.

I have a lot of love for Methodist. Unfortunately, I've had to visit the ER a few times—once when I was eight months pregnant and again when my son was nine months old, both for respiratory infections. I also gave birth at this hospital. Every single visit has been wonderful! Megan, Joyce, and Stephanie from the ER, you all make healthcare a positive experience. Thank you! And a special shoutout to Stephanie in Labor and Delivery—you're my hero! I truly appreciate everything you did to make my delivery as comfortable as possible. View menu

My daughter was taken back, assured she would receive medication for her nausea, and was given an IV that was left in her arm while she was sent back to the waiting area. We ended up waiting an additional two hours before she was seen again. Nurses were shouting the names of patients who had already been taken back, creating a chaotic atmosphere. One woman appeared to be in significant pain but remained in the waiting room for hours. It was disturbing to witness such a scene. If possible, I would recommend taking your loved ones to a different ER. I will never return to this one!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The staff is extremely unprofessional. I took my daughter, who was suffering from a fever and abdominal pain, to this facility. After waiting over an hour and a half for her COVID, flu, and urine test results, they came out into the waiting room and shared her diagnosis in front of everyone! I informed them of her insurance plan, yet they prescribed a medication that is not covered by her insurance. When I called back to request an alternative, the receptionist essentially accused me of lying about what the pharmacy told me regarding coverage. She assured me that she would contact the pharmacy to resolve the issue, but after waiting for a while...
