Chipotle style Mediterranean food. Choose your base then add your bits. They had lots of veggies and 2 different types of falafels which are super moist and not dry at all. You can add as many bits as you want for $9.95! I loaded all the veggies onto mine. Great price for good quality food.

Currently the landlord is renovating the property/building, it has remained open the entire time, but the construction around it has been confusing to find the entrance, not Mezeh's fault. I have never really understood DC's reputation for good food. I have been here quite a bit and can count the good meals I've had on one hand. This restaurant is nothing fancy, but it is the best and freshest place I've been to around here. Its like a Mediterranean appetizer sanpler in a bowl. The guy hooked me up with a menu item I forgot to add, too. If you are staying at a hotel in the area, I really recommend them.

I could eat here every day without getting tired of it. The staff is very friendly and helpful in explaining all the menu items and making recommendations. I absolutely love this restaurant and have dined here multiple times and will continue to do so. However, I noticed that some of the employees are not well-versed in the vegan ingredients they offer. After finding their allergen chart on their website, I discovered that certain items are not vegan due to containing milk or ice. This includes pita, veggie kefta, couscous, baba ganoush, spicy hummus, shug dip, greek pebbles, and harissa. There are also more obviously non-vegan options such as feta. I recommend checking the allergen chart for yourself to ensure you are making a suitable choice. View menu
