"We ordered the Pauleys, Tacos Mi Teirro, and Pollo Moderna. Since I’m on a Keto diet, I opted for an upcharge to swap out the rice for extra vegetables. I found my Pollo Moderna to be well-seasoned and flavorful. The chicken was surprisingly moist and not at all dried out, which was a pleasant surprise. We also ordered a side of queso, and unfortunately, that was a letdown. It came out cold and tasted like melted Velveeta mixed with their salsa, which lacked much flavor beyond just tomatoes. When I tried to spoon some onto my chicken, it came out in a square clump, clearly not melted properly. I wouldn't recommend the Pauleys unless you’re catering to someone who is a picky eater sensitive to spice; it’s essentially a tortilla with hamburger meat that isn’t very seasoned. The service was good, but our server seemed a bit overwhelmed, likely still recovering from the dinner rush. I ordered my usual drink, a Jim Beam and club soda, but they didn’t have Jim Beam and substituted Jack Daniels instead. It was priced at $9.50, which I found a bit unreasonable. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would return. Just be cautious about ordering anything that comes with queso, as other reviews have mentioned—it's not worth it."

We went here for lunch, it was wonderful! There was no wait time, we got a booth without asking for one as well! The waitress was attentive, kept glasses full, and made sure we were taken care of at all times.

Wow! This Mi Cocina is the BEST!! Joseph was our server and he was amazing. The food was freshly made and it was the best tex-mex food we?ve had. I recommend this Mi Cocina and their staff. Best service you?ll ever have. Also, great selection of drinks.

Firstly, I want to highlight that the food is good, but the Preston location was quite disappointing. Our meals arrived cold, and the enchilada plate was tough, while the meat on the nachos was also hard. On a brighter note, the location in Las Colinas was fantastic!

I had a wonderful time with my mother. We were seated immediately since it was just the two of us. Stephanie took great care of us in the bar area, ensuring we were satisfied throughout the evening with drink refills and anything else we needed. I highly recommend this place! View menu

First of all, I want to emphasize that the food is excellent. However, the location on Preston left a lot to be desired. Our meals arrived cold, the enchiladas were tough, and the meat on the nachos was difficult to chew. On the other hand, the location in Las Colinas is fantastic!

I absolutely love the Mexican food at this place! I’ve been here three times, and I’ve never regretted going back. I tried three different types of enchiladas, and they were all delicious. Plus, the queso goes perfectly with the chips. The prices are reasonable, and the patio is a nice touch.

Most disgusting Mexican food I ever ate. Food has ZERO flavors. The sunset enchiladas have chili queso it was horrible. My food was also very cold, so I couldnt tell if thats why the flavors werent coming thru or if the food just wasn't seasoned. But I regret wasting money at this place. The chips were good crispy but again the salsa had no flavors. The rice is bland but the beans taste good. They got my friends order wrong but we let it slide since they were so busy. They don't know Mexican food. Chuys has more flavors than this place if you're looking for spices in your food.
