"Our group of seven dined here last night and had an amazing experience. We highly recommend the nachos mi tierra; you absolutely cannot miss the poblano crema! The tacos mi tierra with chicken were also excellent. Some of the other tacos we tried were milder than we had anticipated, but the mi tierra had a great kick to it, and the portions of guacamole and pico de gallo were quite generous. We placed our drink and appetizer orders right away, but it took a bit longer than expected to get our food ordered, which was surprising since we arrived later in the evening. However, the staff was attentive and took wonderful care of us. A special shout-out to Oscar at the bar for his exceptional service!"

I forgot how different tex mex is versus the real Mexican dishes. The atmosphere and the drinks were good. But I ordered chalupas and got what I believe to be tostadas. I guess in Texas there's a difference between the two. The food basic at best!Food: 3/5 View menu

I recently dined at Mi Cocina at The Star for the first time, and I will definitely be back! Lorenzo provided us with exceptional service. The restaurant wasn’t too busy, creating a wonderful atmosphere. We also loved the delicious yellow queso and, of course, had to try a Mambo Taxi!

Our waiter, Octavio, was one of the most attentive servers I’ve ever met. He was friendly, helpful, quick, and efficient, with a charming demeanor. He treated us like valued guests, and I would love to sit in his section the next time I visit. He truly made our return visit a memorable experience!

Took awhile to get in, but made it in quicker than expected! The food had a wonderful taste and seasoned quite well. Impressed with the food, good pricing and portion size was spot on. Wow, this location is truly amazing! What a fantastic pick! Unfortunately, the food was just mediocre—not really anything special. My server was a bit indifferent and not very attentive. Considering the restaurant's location, I anticipated better service. I feel bad, Carlos, but your service for my group didn’t meet expectations. That said, I left you a 20% tip. I hope you work on improving!

First time here at the star location and we had a phenomenal experience for our lunch break yesterday. We were greeted immediately by the friendly host up front. The atmosphere was great and very beautiful inside even though we just went through an ice storm. Excellence service by our server Rene from start to finish. Great hospitality by the manager Gabriel for checking up on us. We will definitely be back!
