"As the days grow shorter and the temperatures drop, where should you take your date? Look no further than this noodle house! It's a cozy, unassuming mom-and-pop shop with a decent vibe. The decor isn't anything extravagant, but it's perfectly fine. As a seasoned local guide (trust me, I've seen my fair share), I appreciated the concise and focused menu—this place clearly knows its strengths and is committed to perfection. I ordered the tan tan men, and despite the gloomy weather outside, it was a warm and delightful experience for my taste buds. Absolutely delicious! This hit the spot for both me and my companion. I'm definitely impressed by this restaurant choice!"

The broth is rich and creamy, and there’s an abundance of noodles. This is a fantastic place for ramen located in Brookline Village.

Charming ramen and rice bowl spot in Brookline center. Although I was let down that they didn't offer Tonkotsu Ramen, their chicken-based ramen was quite impressive. The char siu was somewhat lacking in flavor, but there was a generous portion in the bowl. Overall, I enjoyed my meal.

I had a great experience with the spicy chicken ramen at Migaku Noodle House. I would have given it a five-star rating, but I found out that the vegetarian option includes a pork-based broth. It appears that pork is prevalent in many dishes here, so I suggest being mindful and always inquiring about the soup base if you're seeking a vegetarian option from the menu. View menu

As someone who has lived in Japan for most of my life, I know what authentic Japanese ramen should taste like. Due to the border shutdowns in Japan, I haven't been able to go home and was seriously craving real ramen. I nearly cried when I tasted the bowl of ramen here because it truly reminded me of home. The owner is Japanese and personally cooks your meal, which adds to the authenticity. Whenever I'm in town, I always make it a point to visit Migaku Noodle House at least once for some genuine ramen!

"If you’re looking for some of the most flavorful, fresh, and delicious ramen, you have to check out Isshindo Ramen! If you’re a ramen fan like me, you know the KEY to a good ramen boils down to the broth and the noodles. Some places the broth is too salty or “greasy”. You don’t have that issue here.I’ve gone to many ramen spots in multiple cities and this place keeps me coming back. Every time I am in Boston I must order from here. Luckily for me, I’ll be spending part of my year in Boston- so I’ll get to enjoy it more often! The broth is super flavorful, savory, and creamy. It is made using a specially treated water and boiled pork bones. This is what gives you that amazing broth and flavor! It’s also loaded with vitamins and nutrients. It is a great option for those looking for an alternative to traditional soup! The noodles used in the ramen are a little different than other Ramen spots- and that is okay! The noodles are more straight than traditional ramen noodles you know. They cook them perfectly so they aren’t mush. The broth is packaged separate for delivery- as to keep everything fresh and hot. The noodles will continue to cook in the boiling hot broth. Some places don’t account for that and the noodles don’t hold up. This place knows the deal and factors that in. I like that.Lastly, the chashu pork is melt-in-your-mouth incredible. You get four large, soft, and delicious cuts of pork belly in your ramen. I like to break the big pieces up. They don’t skimp at all on the quality or quantity of the meat. The ramen is also generously served with Woodear mushrooms, scallion, bean sprouts, nori seaweed, and a soy egg.I have ordered delivery from here multiple times and it’s my favorite spot in town for ramen. It’s always delivered piping hot and packaged very well! The broth is packed separate, as to keep the noodles from overcooking in the hot broth. It also prevents a soggy ramen. The packaging is perfect. I’ve never had anything spill or leak. They also include chopsticks and a soup spoon. Order is always accurate. If you love ramen, you’ve got to give Isshindo a try! You won’t be disappointed.Pro Tip: I recommend a ramen for each adult. However, if you want a bit bigger portion you can add extra noodles for a small up charge- that’s what I usually do. But aside from that, portions are generous. I just like extra noodles.I look forward to eventually eating here in person. But for now- delivery has not disappointed me yet! My favorite spot for ramen!"
