Milkboy South Street

This restaurant is fantastic with plenty of seating. The menu offers a variety of beers and cocktails that cater to all tastes. Tuesday night is also the best night to visit South Street.

The sandwiches were excellent and the sides were amazing. The Brussels sprouts and waffle fries were particularly delicious. The Chicken Philly with roasted chili was the best dish we tried.

They will serve you Jims from across the street.And they will give you the wrong sandwich. Twice. Leave your sorry a sitting there, blast music in your face and charge you for it anyway.God. Aweful. View menu

The food is delicious and the atmosphere and company are top-notch. While the beer may be a bit pricey, the overall experience at this establishment is well worth it. I highly recommend trying their waffle-style cheese fries with a side of their creamy milk sauce - it's absolutely delicious!

Good spot if you want Jim’a cheesesteaks but want to sit down and have a drink, too. The fried brussels sprouts were nice and crispy! The cheesesteaks were solid and so were the waffle fries. I also loved the hard cider! There are a few seats on the main level and the upstairs is a bar (and also where the bathrooms are)

The food was really tasty, probably the best cauliflower cheesesteak I've ever had, but it was kind of weird that they charged an extra $4 to have mushrooms taken off the sandwich. Nothing was added, just removed. The menu also said a side of fries with a sandwich was reduced, but we still ended up paying the full $10 for both of our orders of fries. View menu

The bartender who works on Wednesdays was so rude and definitely did not want us there. We came in for a work event so excited and he was wearing sun glasses, no big deal, but we asked him what was on draft and he said “uh there’s a menu right there” like we were stupid(there were only 6 draft beers) He also took 3 glasses to pour one beer, and even after that it was a terrible pour. Everyone in the group felt unwelcomed and it was an awful experience. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough!

An easy to find and legendary staple of good food and culture.Full service bar on the ground floor mixed with a great music venue on the top makes this a great well rounded philadelphian experience.The service here is always met with a smile and the menu is diverse so that revisiting is as fresh as the first time you came.The Brussels they serve mixed with the philly cheesteak is a God like combination that makes you full of energy and wanting to drift off into food coma at the same time.Give it a try for your self and let me know how you liked it !

they can order jim’s cheesesteaks here and avoid the long lines. came here to lunch while visiting the south street in philadelphia. I thought to go to jim’s on the road first.
