"Very delicious pancakes! I had buckwheat pancakes that are definitely good, but also very dry! I like Buckwheat pancakes, and I knew what to expect, but the consistency was crumbling. The banana pancakes were delicious and exactly what you would expect from buttermilk pancakes. The eggs were perfect to order (via medium for me), and the cookies were decent, although not super unforgettable. I'll say in full honesty, her severity is just not good. It's thin, thin and has no real flesh for it. It had some who looked like it had been added to the severity and had a strange consistency. It was definitely not from scratches from the back of the bratwurst or something. It was the most disappointing part of the experience. Although I go back to zero qualms (in fact, I am looking forward to it), and enjoy the good and friendly service, I will not return for the cookies and gravy, but for the delicious pancakes."

Worst customer service ever! Website doesn't work to place orders. Call and they don't allow phone orders. They want you to walk in and place your order then wait there. How inconvenient! I will never give this place my money again. View menu

As soon as you enter you can smell breakfast in the air. The vibes are welcoming, cozy and nostalgic. There is always a good crowd inside and for some regulars, it feels like it's a local everyday breakfast haven. The staff was very friendly. I'm terms of the food, it's reminiscent of any diner. Comforting and satisfying. The pancakes were fluffy, omelettes were hearty and coffee was well like every other diner coffee.

I grew up coming here. now that i have a family of my own, its there turn to come and try the food! We love the old school look of MPH it makes it feel warm and cozy. The people who are serving are always so friendly and quick. MPH is definitely a staple in the Peninsula so we are here to see it standing forever. I DONT want to share my secret on what time to go... BUT lets just say if you are there 11 am to 1 pm be aware there will be a wait! Anything you eat here will be delicious! so you cannot go wrong.

"Curry Hyuga had long been on my culinary radar, and today, I finally had the chance to experience it. The occasion arose as I needed to pick up my partner at SFO later, and given the mere 10-minute drive from the restaurant to the airport, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to satiate my appetite and make the most of my time, rather than aimlessly circling around the airport. Conveniently, there are numerous public parking lots scattered throughout the town. The restaurant opens its doors at 11:30 am, and I arrived promptly at 11:25 am, only to find a queue already forming outside, as depicted in the photo. The attentive server, Yuki promptly greeted each customer and kept my water glasses filled, setting a positive tone for the dining experience.Opting for their Signature Curry Rice Entree, which features their caramelized onion curry accompanied by shredded cabbage, creamy potato salad, and Fukujin pickles, I decided to elevate my meal by adding Chicken Cutlet Katsu Curry with Chicken Karaage as additional toppings. To my amazement, my order was delivered to my table in a mere 3 minutes, which left me thoroughly impressed. Curry Hyuga's standout feature is their incredibly tender meat, perfectly complemented by their mouthwatering curry—a true masterpiece with Kanazawa-style sweetness and richness that sets it apart. To further customize your dish, they offer a selection of five different spices: Ichimi Togarashi, Jalapeno Pepper, Pequin Pepper, Wiri Wiri Pepper, and Orange Habanero. I had the pleasure of sampling all of them, and personally, I found the Wiri Wiri Pepper and Orange Habanero powder to be standout choices. Their spiciness elevated the curry to a whole new level, complemented by the unique fragrance of the peppers."
