"I walked in and immediately felt more comfortable. It’s very clean and cool. We were able to order fast and get our drinks almost immediately. I got the Fresh Strawberry Tea with Boba and it was amazing. My grandma got the Fresh Mango with boba and said it was really good too. I highly recommend Modern Tea Shop. (It’s also pretty cheap for New York : Vegetarian options: I think most of the stuff here was vegetarian and if you are vegan you can just ask for no cream or milk!!!!Dietary restrictions: This was amazing, I have quite a lot of allergies and dietary restrictions but the options here were perfect and all around amazing."

I enjoy tasting real fruit in my fruit tea, and this place offers the best I've ever experienced. It's not too sweet, not bitter, and not watered down. Just really excellent fruit tea.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST MILK TEA IN THE CITY! ? I love love love this teashop. It tastes expensive and high quality, especially their Jasmine Green Milk Tea. I am writing a review because I need this place to do well and never close down!! ??? View menu

This is my favorite boba shop in all of China, and I can't believe it's in the U.S.! The signature boba topped with whipped cream is the best I've ever had. As a Chinese American who drinks boba all the time, I can confidently say this is a must-try!

Quite place to sit down and enjoy a drink. The staff doesn't greet you or thank you for the drinks. They just focus on making the customers drinks. Our drinks were very pretty but half way drinking it, the drinks were watered-down. We even choose the 100% sweetness. It's okay to try but I've had better tasty drinks elsewhere.

Best boba I've had so far in nyc and very similar the famous brown sugar boba place in the Taiwan market. The brown sugar boba is consistently soft, warm and chewy with a good amount of brown sugar which sticks to the boba (unlike other places where they say it's brown sugar but it doesn't really taste like brown sugar) highly recommend ? The brown sugar teas were definitely the standout; they were the best by far! The other options, like the lychee milk tea and pecan milk tea, were good as well, but not as addictive as the brown sugar variety. I also really appreciate that everything is either lactose-free or has reduced lactose, although we did try one drink with oat milk.

Excellent modern Boba tea spot! Offering so many flavors and combinations of additions, it is hard to make up your mind. There are the traditional flavors you find, but also some really creative ones too. Price reflects quality, like fresh fruit! Our group of 7 found something different and found everything so refreshing and tasty. Nice to have a big table to relax at and inviting vibe. Highly recommended, even if you consider yourself a Boba snob. Enjoy, we'll be back!
