"I got for breakfast and egg bean and cheese burrito smothered in green chili.First of all, the staff was great! I was not familiar with their and she was very helpful. Great customer service!The food however was a little disappointing. The green chili was bland and lackluster in flavor.Due to the length of time it took to get my burrito and the texture/appearance of the eggs, it appeared that my breakfast burrito was made from scratch and that is to their credit. The flour tortilla was soft and doughy, possibly because of the green chili on top but nevertheless it was not good to the chew.For $10, I was disappointed after hearing so many rave reviews from friends and relatives over the food at Monica 's Taco Shop. In fairness to them, I think in the future I will try a chorizo and egg burrito and not get it smothered with green chili."

I really really love their food especially the tortas! But I found a piece of lettuce with a hairy caterpillar looking bug thing and I lost my appetite. I don’t know if I will be able to come back knowing there might be chungus bugs in my food : View menu

11$ for a 2 item combo? Barely any rice and beans included? Counter serve? And you have to buss your own table? For 11-12 bucks a plate, next time I'll goto a real Mexican restaurant where I at least get free chips and salsa for the same price.Food: 4/5

I called early one morning to order 16 burritos for our office. I was a bit worried because the person on the phone didn’t confirm my order or ask any questions. However, they were ready right on time, and each burrito was labeled! They came out hot and were absolutely perfect. Thank you! Food: 5/5

Brother had extreme food poisoning from them several months back.. thought it was maybe a bad week of food, now today, I had a bad stomach ache and I’m lucky that’s all I had.. two others in my family also have extreme food poisoning now and have been puking.. : doesn’t seem like just a bad week of food anymore. I found the bacon breakfast burrito to be quite tasty, especially when topped with salsa in every bite. However, there was an overwhelming amount of potato in it. I say "potato" because one thing I really dislike is when a restaurant uses french fries instead of actual potatoes. Instead of being deep-fried, they seemed to be steamed or prepared in some other way. Overall, I was not impressed with the breakfast burrito. There wasn't enough egg (definitely a sign of being stingy), and the bacon used was more like ham than real bacon, which I found off-putting. I know this is often the case in some authentic Mexican dishes, but I'm not a fan of that imitation bacon!

I returned for a second visit today and noticed a few people waiting for their orders, while another customer was in the process of paying. Once that customer finished, all three women working behind the counter turned their backs to me and began chatting in Spanish by the grill window. I waited patiently, but eventually I got the feeling they were ignoring me on purpose. So, I decided to leave and headed to McDonald’s up the street, where I was quickly served with a smile. I’m not sure if I’ll return to this restaurant, as this experience made me feel undervalued as a customer.
