"The portion sizes have really diminished due to inflation. What used to be enough for three to four people barely serves two now. The Tuesday tacos are affordable, but with only chicken and ground beef offered, the options are limited. Unfortunately, the chicken tastes like canned meat with just some gravy poured on top. The nachos, which used to be fantastic with generous portions, have also lost their appeal. Overall, the place has lost its charm. I might consider giving the tasty tacos a shot next time, but honestly, even Taco Bell is a better option!"

Very good food. Great staff, pretty loud. I had to move to a quieter area but will definitely go back again.

Good food not authentic but good American/Mexican food. Very loud in there from people talking though hard to enjoy the atmosphere.

I enjoyed my meal to mexican music. The serving size was large. Santiago was our server and was great. Overall, it was a great experience. View menu

This is the best restaurant in the Des Moines area. As always, our food was served quickly and it was delicious! Don't miss out on this place.

Fast seating, great wait service and fast delicious food. The Fajitas for Two SLAPS! What a deal too. Wait staff was fast and friendly. Always making sure that everything was doing well and that the drinks were topped off.

I don?t even know how this restaurant can call itself a Mexican restaurant. This was the blandest food I?ve ever had in my life. There wasn?t one ounce of Mexican seasoning on anything that we ate. I am shocked people actually go here for Mexican food. Theonly pro was that the service was good and everyone was friendly! View menu

It was just alright. The meal included only beans and no rice, which I found a bit disappointing. The food itself was quite bland—not bad, but certainly not exciting. The carne asada in my tacos was tasty, and the chips and salsa were decent. However, the service left something to be desired, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. I would have given it two stars, but they were showing the NASCAR race for my husband, which was a nice touch.

I used to eat here frequently a long time ago, but it had been about four years since my last visit due to some less-than-stellar experiences with the food and service. It started out strong seven years ago, but then things went downhill, so we decided to stay away. Tonight, we returned due to limited options for a late-night dinner. Our server, Jean, was very attentive and provided excellent service! The food was good, but I think I’d like to explore other items on the menu next time. Sometimes it just comes down to who is in the kitchen.
