"Man what a disappointment. I 've been coming here over 20 years and have always been satisfied but I have to say this place has fallen apart and I will never be back. They gave me 9 wings see pic for what they call a wing. They were out of celery whichis included wing price on menu. When I asked about it they laughed like why shouldnt you be charged for it. So 9 miniature wingsfor $15.50 that were undercooked with no celery on side. Skin came off all at once when you bite it, no crispness. This was myfavorite wing spot for many many years but must be under new management or something because they fell apart. So sad. Imentioned this to the bartender and all he could do was say sorry. Sorry I have to take my business elsewhere."

The food for Oktoberfest was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars. I highly recommend trying the Hideaway Fries!

The food here was absolutely divine. You get a large portion. Cooked perfectly. They have a good size variety of alcoholic drinks. When I was there the dining area was almost empty. Highly recommend going here.

Spent this past weekend in my gretna. Ate here twice. To call it simple tavern food doesn't do it justice. My wife said it was the best burger she's ever had. The hideaway fries are delicious. Everything we got we loved. Great service n prices. It's like walking into an episode of cheers. Got a sweet hat too, was nice to get a souvenir.

Had a wonderful valentines meal! The raspberry and chocolate covered strawberry martinis were so delicious. Everything we ate (crab and corn fritters, shrimp a la vodka, lobster Colorado) were AMAZING! We had a team lunch this week at Mt Gretna Hideaway. Setting up the reservation for around 20 people was easy. The staff were friendly and accommodating for our group. The dining room had plenty of space and the atmosphere was just what we were lookingfor. The food was fantastic as well! Members of my group ordered everything from whiskey Mac n cheese to burgers and steaks.There were even gluten free options that were delicious! I would recommend it for any group of people getting together.
