"What a delightful surprise this was! When I met my son for dinner at this restaurant, I didn't know what to expect. It's located in a shop that sells a variety of WVU merchandise, but if you head to the back of the store, there's another entrance that leads you into the restaurant. Once inside, you’re greeted with fantastic food. I ordered the crab cakes, and they were bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The sides were equally impressive; the steamed vegetables were well-seasoned and delicious, and we also enjoyed the potato. The wine selection was nice, and my son found his beer so good that he ordered another. I definitely want to return here when I'm in Bridgeport next time. It's truly worth a visit!"

I recently dined at the Mountaineer Grille for the first time, and it truly exceeded my expectations! I ordered the pork BBQ sandwich, and it was fantastic. The smokiness of the meat was just right, and the BBQ sauce complemented it perfectly. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! View menu

The first time at The Mountaineer Grille last night! I love it! Pork BBQ Sandwich was excellent and steamed vegetables were fresh and tasteful! Our server, Louise, was also great! Also, hubby loved his burger! Very clean, very nice atmosphere and fabulous menu! My compliments to the cook/cook! Great job!

This is a fantastic spot for dining and enjoying drinks. They have an impressive selection of craft beers in the cooler, perfect for enthusiasts. The food menu features a variety of specialties, including some of my personal favorites: Texas brisket, meatloaf with habanero ketchup, Korean ribs, and the exceptional calfspot roast. Highly recommended!
