"I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant, especially given the price. The food was excessively spicy—everything! When did vegetable samosas become fiery hot? None of us, including my wife and son, could finish our plates. Tandoori chicken and vegetable dahl should be relatively mild to allow the other spices and flavors to shine, not so spicy that you’re forced to reach for beer or raita to cool your mouth. Additionally, the papadam was stale and somewhat soggy, lacking the crispness it should have had. I've eaten at..."

These guys are deceiving customers by calling their dish Biryani. It's not true Biryani; it's just fried rice. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Chicken biryani was too dry and oily, Their bread and appetizers are okay, the Tikka masala(mild) isn't really spicy at all, just soupy like tomato. little disappointing.

In my opinion, this is the best Indian restaurant I have ever visited in NYC. All the dishes are incredible, but I highly recommend trying the Achar Gosht. In fact, everything I've sampled during my multiple visits has been excellent. The service is also very friendly. View menu

we got the hydhrabadi chicken curry the achar ghosht. Both were amazing, the hydhrabadi chicken curry flavor is so rich and it tasted like the chicken simmered in the curry for sometime so the meat was flavorful and juicy! The achar ghosht was different take on mutton curry, but the meat was soft and juicy and there were pieces of achar in the curry, and I personally enjoyed that bc I love achar. Portions were great! And truly worth the price. The service is also amazing. They seem like they r … – show

This is the closest spot to where I live so I WANT it to be good. Over last 5 years I pop in to try it to see if its improved, it hasn’t. The staff are nice, its always quite busy, but the food isn’t that great. I get the Jalfrezi, its always different (which is fine) but today I got it and it was so red … – show
