"This place is an absolute treasure. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by a delightful aroma that feels like joy. The ladies who run the restaurant are fantastic and genuinely eager to assist. They create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel appreciated. The ambiance is reminiscent of a trendy spot in Chicago or New York, and the quality of the food rivals that of those cities. I ordered three sandwiches for my family and me, and each one was perfectly balanced and delicious. I have to say, their French dip was the best I’ve ever had at a sandwich shop, aside from Philippe's in LA. I also enjoyed the club sandwich, though I wish I had requested pickles, as I love them with turkey. Overall, it was an A+ experience, and we'll definitely return as often as we can!"

This place is a gem in a city full of disappointing sandwiches. Quality meats and breads and they don't skimp on the meats. I love this shop.

Really nice people, food was flavorful. After only the second time I had been there they called me by name. Personal service was appreciated. Thank you

This is the perfect neighborhood sandwich shop. The staff is friendly, and the portion sizes are generous. I ordered a 12-inch sub, which was more than enough for two people. I will definitely be returning!

A friend from work took me there and I've eaten there twice and I must say, my grilled bacon sandwich was awesomely tasteful!!! I would recommend their sandwiches to anyone and everyone. The only negative I can think of is, I would like to take my wife there on the weekend because I'm absolutely sure she would love their sandwiches, but they're closed and that's a bummer for her. Try it, because you'll love it!!! View menu

Every time we visit Las Vegas, we make sure to stop by this hidden gem. It's the best sandwich shop in town. The staff is fantastic and they really take great care of their customers. Their soups are freshly made every day and each one is delicious. There’s ample seating and the menu caters to even the most selective eaters. You genuinely feel like part of the family when you step inside. I highly recommend this place!

I’ve visited this restaurant twice now, and each time the staff has been incredibly friendly and genuinely seems to enjoy their work. Honestly, it’s some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Their sandwiches are fantastic—well-seasoned, with generous portions—and they offer a wide variety on their menu for a sub shop. I’ve tried the Munch Philly and the Mushroom Swiss, both of which were excellent. My coworkers also rave about their sandwiches. In my opinion, they have the best subs in Vegas!

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
