Food volume is low however the side items were tasty. The service was very slow however they were apologetic. Pack a lunch and don't go hungry cause you will starve before you get your food.Food: 3/5

If I want bbq on the Northside I come here. There's a cozy covered area for you to wait on your order under or you can stay in ur car while u wait. The staff is friendly and actually funny if u need a picker upper. My favorite dish are there smoked wings with both sauces.

This meal was EVERYHTANG!!! I definitely will be going again. The service was great. They were quick and efficient with giving you your order. Honestly, I wasn't expecting the ribs to be such a good size. You definitely get your money worth from them. They're outside, but they accommodate by putting a searing area with shade, which is awesome. I look forward to going back again and trying more of their menu.

They open at 11, we arrived around 11:30 for lunch and they didn’t have some of the major menu items. We asked for wings, they didn’t have any. We asked for rib tips, they didn’t have any. I don’t understand how a “chicken and rib” business runs out of chicken and ribs. After being told there were no rib tips, they said I could get ribs. My ribs were pink in color and they had a very weird smell to them. I threw them away I won’t be going back. 0/10 do not recommend. View menu

I had already eaten the one bone you see there, but, essentially what you see is considered half a slab and cost $16. Normally a half slab is 6-7 whole ribs, but apparently not here. Don't get me wrong, the ribs and sauces are delicious, but the portion on the half slab and the rude older lady (always on her phone) at the window leave a lot to be desired. This was my go-to for buying full slabs, but after this day ordering half a slab while out and about, I don't think I can support them anymore.

Whoaaaaaa. Hold on folks. This little gem of a side road joint is my kinda Ribs. Good hardy somles wood flavor side with natural style rub not over the top. You taste the meat not all the sauce or rub but enough to give flavor. That bake beans taste like Candy Yams without question. Brisket was good. But the show goes to the Ribs. Friendly owners and the lady was super nice. Awesome place to visit if you ever in Jax. Trust me wash it down with that killer at Arnold Palmer tea and you be in HOG Heaven !!

DO NOT, come to Jacksonville and pass up this absolutely amazing BBQ! One could easily dismiss this place for its not fancy at all. Folks sitting outside waiting for meals was a good sign. Worth the drive from anywhere in town. Worth the wait once there. I'm not a big fan of sides at bbq joints but I tried the potatoes salad and green beans. Potato salad just a tad sweet for my taste but very good. Green beans are green beans. They were out of chicken wings. A little disapointing , but all else made up for that.
