"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant and I highly recommend it! The meatball sliders were the standout among all the appetizers we tried—definitely don’t miss those delicious little bites. They were bursting with flavor, rich and buttery, not bland at all. The fried onion rings were also quite tasty. The chicken wings were decent, but now let’s talk about the deep dish pizza. This was my second time trying deep dish, and I have to say I enjoyed it much more than the first one. It had wonderful flavors and the crust was just right—not too dry and not too soggy. After my disappointing experience with deep dish pizza at Giordano's, I approached this one with skepticism, but Nancy's did not let me down. The drinks were great, too. We tried four different cocktails; the first three were spot-on. However, on the fourth one, something unusual happened. One of us took a sip, noticed a buttery taste, and made a face. The bartender noticed right away, rushed over, and asked what was wrong. He offered to make us a new one, but we just asked for a little lime juice to be added. I truly appreciated that they care about the quality of their offerings and the satisfaction of their customers. I will definitely come back to try more dishes, but I know I will always get those meatballs as an appetizer!"

The pizza here is incredibly good. I had a wonderful time, although our waitress could have been a bit more attentive. Overall, it was a great experience, and the food is delicious.

Came to eat here the first day we landed in Chicago as I have never been to Chicago but knew I had to try deep dish pizza. Hands down, the best pizza I have ever had. We ordered “Uncle Tony’s” deep dish pizza and the Pesto Balsamic fries and it was delicious. I was worried with a deep dish pizza it would be too much but the ingredients were so fresh everything tastes so fresh and wasn’t too heavy on the stomach at all.

The service was fantastic—our server was warm and attentive the entire time. The prices are reasonable and quite fair for what you get. When we visited for lunch on a Sunday, the restaurant was fairly quiet, but the spacious layout and relaxed ambience made for a comfortable experience. Here’s how I would rate it: - Price (compared to similar places): 4.5/5 - Food: 4.3/5 - Ambience: 5/5 - Service: 5/5 - Overall Value: 4.5/5

A little glimpse of what we got. Deep dish sausage and pepperoni delish!! The way the cheese pulls waaaaay high did it for me. The meatball slider, it was good but I expected more flavor for the reviews given, but still good. Now, those fries OooooMG the pesto ones were freaking delicious! The bacon fries were just as good but definitely have to try the pesto fries!!! Definitely worth trying this place. A little pricey if you’re feeding more than 2 ppl but still worth it. View menu

It was quite good! Being from Detroit, I have my biases, and I typically prefer the Detroit-style deep dish because I’m not a fan of crust. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the Chicago pizza, especially the fresh garlic and chicken I ordered. One thing I will mention, having been a delivery driver myself, is that if you can’t reach the person, it’s best to wait. I went through a similar situation and ended up leaving. I tipped on my card, but my brother intended to give the driver a cash tip and missed out on that opportunity.

The food is quite good—tasty and even delicious, especially when you're hungry. I ordered through a delivery service that advertised free delivery. While there didn't seem to be a separate delivery charge, it might have been factored into the overall price on the receipt. Regardless, my total came to $24, which would have been higher if delivery had not been free. Although I enjoyed the food, I felt it was pricey for just 10 inches. I probably won't be ordering from here again, as I have another favorite place. For the same $24, I can get a much larger and tastier pizza.

Visiting Chicago wouldn't be complete without some deep dish pizza. Nancy's was DELICIOUS, and our server was so friendly. Can't recommend highly enough.Vegetarian options: Any vegetarian should be able to leave very happy. (Vegans maybe not)Kid-friendliness: The table next to us had a dad and two 5(ish) year-old girls. Hats off to that guy. But the kids seemed to enjoy themselves.Dietary restrictions: Anyone worried about eating gluten free... They have a GF crust, but clearly state on the menu that they cannot guarantee cross contamination. The thin crust GF pizza was delicious though!!! View menu

I recently had my first experience at Nancy's Pizza, and I must say, it surpassed my expectations. The deep dish pizza was outstanding; we tried the specialty pizza called Uncle Tony's, and it had the perfect balance of sauce, toppings, and cheese. The crust was excellent as well. They offered a great selection of drinks at very reasonable prices. We also ordered the onion ring appetizer, which I would highly recommend. We opted for a large pizza since we wanted leftovers for later. The service was fantastic. Just a heads up, parking in the area is metered, costing $4.75 per hour. I will definitely be returning!

First everything we ate was top notch, delicious, well prepared etc... Unfortunately every part of our order was incorrectly taken, we had to laugh at it. If it wasn't for the owner doing the rounds with the patrons and us being able to share our experiences, with her (and her son) making it right, this review would have been very different. I am of the belief that things happen but how they are dealt with can outweigh the initial issue. Made our dinner from our out of town visit memorable, by being shown how important customer service is to Nancy's. Can't wait to go back, and I encourage anyone looking for the best pizza in town to visit.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
