"I would normally open this with a statement that maybe this was just an off day, but I 'm seeing other people post pictures of dry meat saying good BBQ! , so I 'm thinking that Phoenix residents just don 't know good BBQ. Ordered two meals: brisket and rib tips, chicken and rib tips. Sides: potato salad, corn on the cob, smoakie beans. Brisket: hands down, the worst brisket I 've ever had from a restaurant. Tough, dry, overcooked, and looked like it was reheated from days ago. Rib tips: Surprisingly good relative to everything else, but the rub on them tasted like any other rub you 've had. Chicken: hands down, the worst chicken my wife has ever had from a restaurant. She couldn 't even finish it. I 've never had chicken quite that overcooked; was turning to mush at such a level that it was like it had been in a crock pot for hours before. Potato salad: food service potato salad. Was better with salt, but you 've had it anywhere else. Corn on the cob: somehow they managed not to ruin this, but it 's also not particularly interesting either. Smoakie beans: you 'd think something with a bunch of smoked meat and a bunch of vegetables in it would have flavor. It does not. We got cheesecakes for dessert, and that took the cake (pun intended): $5.99 each for tiny frozen manufactured slices, they must laugh to themselves every time they 're boxing them up. All in all, come here if you 're looking for reheated of Famous Dave 's or Dickey 's, paired with sides and dessert from Costco."
