"Nativo 's, Coarsegold: 7 Jun 2023 (3 of 5) We wanted to have a nice dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Since we 've been to Navito 's once and I enjoyed my dish (my other 3 companions didn 't like their dinner), we thought we 'd give it another try. Nativo 's pays homage to Italian cuisine, complimented by views of the mountains. This being a weekday, there were many empty tables. We chose a table by the window, overlooking the mountains. Front of House: The front of house attendant was friendly, and greeted us by wishing us a Happy Anniversary. A little bird must have told her. Busser: Arturo was friendly and professional. Server: Savannah was gracious and attentive. Food: The food was mediocre at best. Shrimp Cocktail: The shrimps were large and had a good chew. The sauce was good. For $17.00, this was a satisfying dish. (4 of 5) Bread Butter: The complimentary sourdough bread had a tangy flavor and a slightly chewy texture and was very well baked. The slightly salty butter complemented the bread. (5 of 5) Chicken Marsala: The chicken should be succulent with mushrooms cooked in a reduced wine sauce. The overall taste should be deep, nutty, with a slightly sweet flavor. This evening 's dish was not the best. The chicken was dry and under seasoned. (2 of 5) Filet of Dover Sole: The presentation looked nice, and I was excited to taste this beautiful dish. Unfortunately, this dish only looked nice but didn 't taste good at all. The description said it comes with oregano and grilled asparagus. I counted 4 pieces of ¼ inch wide asparagus on my plate. The taste left me with disgust. Though the noodles were well managed, the rest of the dish lacked substance. The entire dish was 'bland ' with a capital B. I showed the server the number of asparagus on my plate and she offered to bring me some on the side. As you can see from my photo, I managed to finish the extra asparagus but left three quarters of my dinner on the plate. I felt jibbed, having to pay $29.00 for this mediocre dish. (1 of 5) Atmosphere: Clean but the music was loud. The open concept dining room and the sparse number of people made the place echo more than usual. Overall: Nice, clean establishment, with friendly staff and good drinks."

Brought my mom here for a light dinner. We shared the meatball appetizer and the Cesar salad. Also drank a martini and margarita. All around amazing and the service was impeccable. They sat us outside with a gorgeous view and we dined while watching the sun set. I should've taken a pic. Can't wait to go for brunch tomorrow.

Everything was wonderful! We sat outside for dinner (it was about 80 degrees at 6:30pm), views for days. Drinks were good, decent amount of alcohol in them, appetizers were great, the meatball was so tender and flavorful. The service was great too! Very attentive, but no always interrupting you. It was a very good choice for our anniversary dinner

Supposed to be a classy upscale place. Unfortunately, Horrible service. Food was a disaster, flavorless and bland. Waitress was rude and never came back after saying no to everything we tried to order. Never even brought our wine either. Steak and potatoes was steak and potato wedges, a giant bland meatball sauce was the same, had to use the steak knife to open the ketchup because we were told they could not open it. View menu

My family and i had lunch here. I understand it is lunch not dinner but ? There was only seafood prett6 much none of which seemed fresh or cooked right our oysters were over cooked and rubbery. There was a filet mingon but for a $60 lunch that was all i ate personally other then desert. They had no options really the sushi guy wasnt there? To make sushi...the desert ? Was good, and the staff was nice helpfull..but unfortunetly the food as that price was not worth it for us .

I just had an incredible evening at Nativo's. The wine was fantastic, the food was exceptional, but what truly made the night memorable was our server, Mathew. From recommending appetizers and champagne to answering all our questions, he was outstanding. What really set the evening apart was the conversation; my family felt like we were dining with a friend in his own home. The sunset view is breathtaking! Nativo's is definitely a must-visit if you're headed to Yosemite. Be sure to ask for Mathew! We’ll definitely be back and plan to stay at the casino next time.

I visited Chukchansi for the first time and made a dinner reservation. Unfortunately, we were seated outside, where it was hot and uncomfortable. We waited for over 20 minutes without anyone coming to take our order or even offer us water. When we tried to go back inside, the door was locked, but thankfully a kind gentleman sitting inside opened it for us. However, when we approached the hostess, she was dismissive and rude, refusing to seat us indoors. Frustrated, we decided to leave. If this is the level of service at Chukchansi, I won't be returning. It was the worst service I have ever experienced! View menu

Wow!!! Whenever we make the drive to Chukchansi we always dine at Nativo's. Sam, the chef is such an exceptional talent. His dishes are to die for. My husband always orders the lasagna and I like to change it up a bit. We love to sit at the bar and chat with William the bartender. He serves up amazing service and makes the best drinks. Always calm and welcoming, we love his energy! We really cannot say enough of Sam's expertise in the dishes he creates and William ensures you have the best dining experience. We were seated by a man who was from Italy and he said his dish was amazing! Do yourself a favor and make Nativo's a destination stop like we do!!

I did find it a bit odd how they served the garlic bread in thin slices on a plate, and the Caesar salad came with whole romaine leaves instead of chopped. There wasn't quite enough dressing to cover the entire lettuce. However, the giant meatball appetizer was amazing—just like something your Italian grandmother would make, but in a shareable size. My husband enjoyed the New York steak, which was perfectly cooked with a nice char and grill marks—surprisingly tender for an Italian restaurant. My son had the fettuccine Alfredo, which was decent but needed a lot more salt to enhance the flavor. The portion size was quite large, though! Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience!

"Updated review- dropped 3 stars!I have to update my review because I went to this restaurant a third time and just decided I'm not coming back again unfortunately. I understand that small businesses are struggling but seriously the prices are just absurd now. We asked what the special was for the day and she mentioned tacos for $4 a piece. I ordered an entrée and a taco and my friend ordered two tacos. 15 minutes later the waitress comes out and announces that the tacos are actually $6 a piece and asks if we still wanted them. Of course we did because we were super hungry but this price is just ridiculous for a single taco I definitely voiced my discontent. There's no justification in paying $12 for two tacos. If they were smart they would drop their prices and advertise on Hwy 41 to get more people coming in more frequently with actual specials. Instead they are raising their prices which is the exact opposite of what they should be doing to increase regular foot traffic. On top of this complaint, it was about 88° outside and the waitress did not even offer to bring our dogs water on the patio. When I placed my finished bowl on the ground and poured the dogs some water she immediately came out and said the bowl can't be on the ground and replaced it with a Styrofoam bowl instead. She seemed real upset that we put the old wood bowl on the concrete, but she didn't seem to be that observant when the dogs were panting and needing water. Just, uh . . . Bad experience. I'll be taking my money elsewhere.Original review 4 star- Lexi was a doll. Knowledgeable, did up a good mango margarita, was very sweet with my dog and the food was good. A bit overpriced though, especially for a local just passing through wanting to help support local businesses relax for a bit. I really believe the local businesses should give us returning local customers at least 20% off!!!??? I would come back here for the good service and to try out some of their other dishes and drinks, but not too often due to being overpriced imo."
