"As a New Yorker who has moved to North Carolina, I had a craving for Chinese food. So far, I’ve encountered a lot of disappointing experiences. The fried wings were decent, but they don’t compare to real NYC Chinatown. The pork chow fun tasted more like onion chow fun, with barely any pork in it. Where is the real flavor? I ordered the Shanghai noodles with seafood (chicken, beef, and shrimp), but what I received was fake meat, a few chunks, and two overcooked scallops, along with stiff noodles. The chicken wings were standard, but I do love chicken wings. The fried rice was bland and lacked seasoning like sesame or soy sauce. While the staff was polite and seemed busy, the overall dining experience fell short. If they had ever eaten in an authentic Chinatown community, they would understand what I’m talking about. I won't be returning."

I've been enjoying meals at this restaurant for around 14 years! It's the ONLY place my friends and family choose for Chinese food in the local area (NC/SC). My orders are always accurate, ready when promised, and the food is consistently incredibly fresh! I highly recommend it. View menu

I've been dining here for 14 years! This is the only place where my friends and family get their Chinese food, whether we're in North Carolina or South Carolina. The orders are always accurate, ready when they’re supposed to be, and the food is consistently fresh and delicious! I highly recommend it.

I recently visited New China and was delighted by the delicious food and excellent service, though the atmosphere could use some improvement. The prices were quite reasonable, and my friends, who have lived in Conway, SC for the past four years, highly recommend this restaurant for its flavorful Chinese cuisine.

As a transplanted New Yawka who exiled himself to NC, I had a hunker'n for Chinese food. So far, all I found good was the fried wings, No one has real NYC Chinatown food! The Pork Egg Fu Young was Onion Fu Young, with essence of pork. Where's the bean sprouts? I got the Shanghai Noodle with Seafood (chicken, Beef and shrimp). I got fake **** meat, a few shrimps and 2 scallops...and stiff lo mein noodles..no chicken, no beef. Chicken wings were standard, but I love chicken wings. Fried rice was mushy with a few peas and again...essence of pork. No condiments, like, mustard, soy. While the workers were polite and busy...the food lacks, if you have ever eaten in a real Chinatown joint, you'd kn... View menu

"Firstly, there was Mr. Bottomless Pit seated in the corner—a sight that could rival any competitive eating contest. This guy had a table to himself and was devouring food with such gusto that I half-expected him to start licking his plate clean with his tongue. The amount of food he shoveled into his mouth could have fed a small village for a week. His table was a mountain of discarded napkins and crumpled menus, and I swear I heard a collective gasp from the neighboring tables every time he reached for another serving. Then there was Ms. Indecisive at the salad bar. She spent a good fifteen minutes examining each leaf of lettuce as if it were a rare gemstone. She picked up a cherry tomato, squinted at it, and then placed it back with a look of profound contemplation. By the time she finally assembled her salad, it resembled a modern art installation more than a meal. At another table, a group of teenagers were engaged in a heated debate over who could create the tallest Jenga tower out of breadsticks. Crumbs were flying everywhere as they meticulously balanced each stick, occasionally collapsing into fits of laughter that echoed through the entire restaurant. And let 's not forget the couple at the romantic candlelit table near the window. They seemed to be having a lovers ' quarrel that was loud enough to rival an opera performance. Every sentence ended with a dramatic gesture and an exasperated sigh. I half-expected them to break into a rendition of Don 't Cry for Me Argentina at any moment. As for the service, it was a comedy of errors. Our waiter seemed to be auditioning for a slapstick comedy routine, juggling plates and forgetting orders with impressive consistency. At one point, he accidentally poured a glass of water into a gentleman 's lap, who promptly stood up with a startled yelp, creating a mini-flood in the middle of the dining room. CHAOS. ???????????"
