"My two friends and I were here on Friday, 5/3/2019. I ordered the egg rolls and fried chicken. They were ok but can’t compare to the Lundy store nor the Story store. The place was empty at 11:55 AM on a Friday. (See attached picture! When I compare the prices among the three stores I know why. At Lundy, which is the original store according to my Vietnamese friend, the egg roll is $1.15 and fried chicken is $0.99. At Story, which is the largest of the three, the egg roll is $1.45 and fried chicken is $1.25. Here at Milpitas, the egg roll and the fried chicken are both $1.75 a piece. [July 24/2019 Update] We went back here on a Wednesday. The food was still so, so. But there were more people. One picture was taken at 11:50 AM. And the next one was taken at 12:20 PM."

Horrible food! Horrible service. Everything Horrible! This place deserves to get closed. Food was already spoiled. Their food will make you sick!

The restaurant was empty, much like their covertly disguised duck that was pretending to be chicken. The food lacked flavor, and the chicken had a rubbery texture that resembled duck. View menu

I would give no stars if I could, worst Chinese food ever. I should have listened to the lil voice in my head when I noticed nobody there at 12 noon. Only had chow mein, fried rice, two different entrees and egg rolls. They have business calling themselves king egg roll.

My family and I were extremely disappointed! We waited for the rice to cook. fresh rice right? NO, it was awful!! They had corn in it, it was completely dry, and horrible flavor! we couldn't even eat it! We will continue to drive to San Jose to those locations. Never going back! Ever!

After visiting the Milpitas location, I've come to realize that the best one in San Jose offers superior food. Their egg rolls are always fresh and taste better than those at the Milpitas location, and their shrimp balls are significantly larger. I’ve decided that from now on, I’ll be making the drive to San Jose for my meals. View menu

They prepared a fresh batch of sweet and sour chicken for me, even though I hadn't made up my mind about ordering it yet. I appreciate their effort, though. They also allowed me to sample the BBQ pork before I placed my order, and it was quite delicious. Unfortunately, the hot line wasn't functioning properly, so the food was lukewarm. Additionally, the restroom had a terrible smell.

Never will I be going back to this place. The first clue...no cars in the parking lot. The time was about 5:30. Second clue...there's nobody at the counter. I waited maybe 5 seconds, about to walk out...a young girl appears. They don't have a menu board,, they have a piece of paper on the glass, the font was very small.. The food looks like it had been sitting there for a while. It was hubby's birthday, short on time, the kids wanted Chinese food. I spent 128 dollars. This is NOT King Eggroll. The food was very bland, no flavor. I should have driven out to the one on Berryessa, but Milpitas was closer. So, y'all have been warned. Do Not buy from here!!

"I always go to this store as we live closeby. I always love to bring my kids in this store, and have them order their food. Yesterday, I went with my 3 yr old son (his bday) coz he wants a cake pop. I let him call the barista so she knows we're ready to order. My son said excuse me like 5 times, said hello like 3 times to get her attention coz she's talking with her coworker. She finally came up to us, my son ordered cakepops, I ordered 2 java chips and 1 mocha frappe. The baristas before were soooo nice, very friendly, welcoming but yesterday was the opposite. Btw, always sip a bit of your drinks before you leave the store coz yesterday I guess the barista who made the mocha frappe forgot to put in sugar syrup. I just found it today as my husband didn't drink his mocha frappe yesterday. Coz what if you just stopped by to get some drinks and you already left then found out something is wrong with your order. And also, they do not offer Java Chip anymore, so you gotta pay additional for the chips. The barista didn't even inform me about it, found out today when I checked the receipt online. I called in to let them know about my concerns, they offered to remake the mocha frappe. The barista who made our drinks was the one who took our order. Maybe she had a bad day. But then, I just wish the baristas will be more friendly and welcoming and inform the customer if a menu is no longer available so we have the option to change our order.
