"This restaurant serves genuinely authentic Polish food that is perfectly prepared. My compliments to the chefs for creating such wonderful dishes. It was truly excellent—thank you! I have often visited Poland to see family and for motorcycle racing events, where I've had my fair share of Polish cuisine. This place stands out as second to none. Dining here transported me straight back to Poland. It was my first visit, and I brought my son along; we both thoroughly enjoyed every moment, right up to the dessert. SMACZNEGO!"

"Fun and yum. Previous reviewers are correct about two things: if you sit at the hibachi you 'll leave smelling like the food; and the place needs to be cleaned there are grease stains around all of the a/c vents, which is not a good thing. (note to owners and staff: PLEASE clean the place) We 've been to the 'traditional ' side a few times to have sushi and, though the food is fine, the place to eat is most def. the hibachi. The service on a packed night was very good. You can order sushi to the hibachi tables as long as one person orders hibachi. We were concerned about the size of the entree portions given how much fried rice and veggies were made and served but the portions were very good. I ordered scallops and got at least seven large scallops that were seared and tasty. The folks who ordered steak cleaned their plates (and the shrimp were pretty good, judging by the one that was flipped into my mouth). Some part of the fun and the price is def. having the food cooked at the table, etc. etc. LOTS of tables were filled with families w/young kids or groups of folks out partying but the quality of food does not suffer from having groups there enjoying themselves."

"I went here with my girlfriend on a date it was our first time here. I was on the fence about ordering the goat cheese pizza. They told me if I did not like it I wouldn't have to pay for it. There was a misunderstanding due to there being pork on my goat cheese pizza. It was prosciutto. I thought prosciutto was a type of cheese honestly, that was my mistake. I tried to speak with my waiter about it, telling him I am Muslim and cannot eat pork. He took my pizza to have it remade. He came back angry and defensive, telling me it is not the restaurant's fault for having pork on the pizza. I told him he was right it's not but I never said it was the restaurant's fault, I just cannot have the pork due to religious reasons. My girlfriend chimed in to de-escalate the situation and told the waiter it was just a misunderstanding and we apologize for the inconvenience. The waiter told my girlfriend she should have been a big girl and should have picked the pork out of my pizza. I told the waiter that we were the customers and we aren't very happy with how we're being treated. The waiter stormed off and came back with the pizza. I thought that was that. After eating my new pork-free goat cheese pizza, the waiter came back with the bill and charged me for both goat cheese pizzas, going back on what he said earlier. I felt very attacked that night, and I will never go there again. No one should have to experience that at a restaurant. It was terrible service, I advise against having a meal at this place."

"Pretty disappointed with customer service...called in an order, the person who took my order repeated the order back to me, order would be ready in 45 minutes. Picked up my ordered and returned back to the house and the order was short mozzarella sticks.... I called back to Joeys, explained that the order was incorrect. Person on the phone said Mozzarella Sticks were never ordered we had it written down and the person who took the order even repeated it back to us. I asked to throw in an order and the lady said it would be 30 minutes, I explained they are for my daughter, and I wanted to come right down because it was dinner time. Was told the mozzarella sticks were made to order and they would take 30 minutes. Mozzarella Sticks take all of 5 minutes to toss in a frier. Easily could have said sorry for the confusion, we will get those in for you right away...would have kept a loyal customer who has been ordering from Joeys from 10 years. "I share Regina M's vision of the perfect diner as highlighted in her review of Saugerties Village Diner: the classic decor featuring chrome and linoleum, a terrazzo floor, a counter with stools, and an enticing display of pastries. The menu is impressively extensive, boasting over 400 items, with all-day breakfast available. The atmosphere is lively, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the food is delicious and straightforward. Broadway Diner fulfills all these expectations. I highly recommend trying the challah French toast, although it resembled a loaf of bread in shape. My only minor complaint is that the home fries were slightly too soft for my taste—I prefer them crispy. Nonetheless, we left feeling satisfied and full for just $30."
