"I can just say... My roommate suggested we go to New York Chicken from our place to get dinner, and I swore together with a friend of us. We took various chicken dishes with fries; plus, my roommate got potatoes. If you ask the restaurant, there are many hot sauce, ketchup, salt and pepper packages too. I was blown away from the taste of food; it was on a level above what I expected. My roommate tells me this is because the food is blessed by a rabbi. We took our food to the park and had a feast. Our group discovers that diving the french fries in the potatoes is a delicious combination, so make sure to buy both sides. On a side note, this store also has a good selection of soda available in its cooler. Thanks for the great food and great service, New York Chicken. We'll be back."

The roasted chicken is incredibly tasty and very fulfilling! The prices are also reasonable! I highly recommend it!

We were charged $17.99 but didn’t receive an invoice. The food quality was poor and lacking in flavor. We ordered the Chicken Kebabs for dinner, and they were disappointing in taste. Additionally, the portion size was very small. View menu

The fried chicken is pretty solid, but thats about it. The pizza dough was like a half inch thick with barely any sauce or cheese. The calzone was undercooked, and raw on the inside. Delivery came quick, and it was fairly cheap, but I won't be going back.Food: 2/5

Really good place. I usually order on grubhub for pickup, and the food is almost always ready within 15 minutes, and the people working are really friendly. I love their wings and pizza and recommend it to anyone looking for a quick bite on days that they feel like ordering out.

I've been ordering from this place for more than 10 years. Today, I ordered a pizza, salad and wings for delivery, and the delivery wasn't what I ordered. I called, they admitted they got it wrong, but their only offer was that they'd prepare what I ordered if I picked it up in person--after I'd already paid a delivery fee and driver tip. I ended up with food I didn't want, they get a review they don't want and I stop ordering from this restaurant. View menu

Simply some of the worst pizza I've ever had in my life. Their pizza sauce tastes like hunts marinara sauce. Skip this pizza and go for 7-Eleven or frozen digorno. I wish I was kidding. I'm not. I'd be embarrassed to serve this pizza at an elementary school cafeteria. There pizza makes Chuck E. Cheese pizza seem like some Michelin star straight from Napoli stuff. Two stars because they delivered quick, the curly fries were good, and they were one of two restaurants still open when I wanted food.

This is just a review of the pizza. I got a cheese slice, the standard by which I judge a pizza place.Generally, not very good. The cheese was thick and bland, and it tore rather than stretched. The sauce was barely there. But the biggest offender was the crust. It was incredibly thick, to the point where even after being reheated, there was still a layer of soft, undercooked dough in the middle. For the money, it filled me up. And I want to stress how important that is. Neighborhoods need affordable options and this is certainly one of them. But it just didn 't taste very good, and I worry about using the word undercooked in the context of pizza.I will give the chicken a try at some point, a...

"I haven't been to a Heidi's in years and I was so excited when I found out there was still a location in Brighton. The food is just as good as I remembered. I got the Country Egg Salad on Sourdough and added Cheddar cheese. It's a good size sandwich and it was very filling. The egg salad was plentiful and well seasoned. The side of coleslaw was fresh and had just the right amount of dressing and the pickle was cold and garlicky which is my favorite way to have pickles. I also got a Blueberry Hand Pie which I've never had from Heidi's before and it was absolutely delicious. The crust on the hand pie was flaky and buttery and the blueberry filling was not too sweet and appeared to be homemade with fresh blueberries which was a nice touch. I'm a big fan of their fresh ingredients and large portions. The service was alright and although it took a few minutes for the staff to realize I was there (it wasn't very busy when I stopped by around 2pm on a Sunday), the two women working behind the counter were very friendly and I got my food very quickly. The ambiance was alright but most of the tables were dirty with crumbs and other spilled food so I had to wipe down my table and chair before sitting down. Also the prices were a bit high and I paid almost $19 for one sandwich and the hand pie no drink or chips. I really hope to be back to this location sometime soon and I hope they don't close this location like they did to the one in Parker."
