"Update. I came today 11—16 and the service was not up to par and my burger that was on a crosssiant fell apart and not much meat again. The sweet potato fries were loaded with the sugar cinnamon stuff. Our friends burger was not made right sent it back and still wasn't right. Not will be coming back. Got the brunch burger today. Chicken n sausage gumbo was great, fried shrimp even better, seafood gumbo was great, friendly service, peaceful atmosphere, Cajun music in the background, and I could even watch my tigers play for a bit. A great dining experience.

Good food, it's a little , the beignets are biscuits cut into pieces and resemble donut holes.. actually, you be the judge! The main course was delicious(Fried Shrimp/Baked Potato). Nice little spot with decent service. The philly was delicious and had generous meat, veggie and cheese portions. I'd definitely recommend that. Unfortunately it is overpriced at $13.95 the fries were extra. The fries were tasty and seasoned well. Overall I'd visit again to try the chicken fried steak meal and I would order the sandwich if the craving was there. Side note — Fresh smelling restroom with nice soap.

This place is ALWAYS busy with a wait list to sit unless you are there as soon as the door opens for lunch! This visit was unfortunate for them. When we walked in, all the tables had people sitting but no food as we were told they were either waiting on the cooks or waitresses.
