No 1 Restaurant had some of the rudest people. Every time you go in there the women’s have an attitude , they take their own time taking your order .. I will not return to an nasty rude establishment

This is a review before COVID-19... Four years prior to COVID-19. Winterville restaurant : Customer service was good and the food was terrible. The worst Chinese food I have ever had... Everything was soggy including the rice. Tried them two or three times with no improvement.

I wouldn't recommend buying food from this restaurant. I ordered a meal last night and didn't finish it, so I decided to heat it up this morning. To my surprise, I found a large piece of eggshell in the chicken. It was revolting! Now I’ve completely lost my appetite because I’m worried there might be other unpleasant things in the food. The food is quite good, but the service can be quite disappointing at times. The owner/manager struggles to retain cashiers, and his limited fluency in English makes it hard to understand him when addressing order issues or explaining things. He also isn't the most welcoming person. Additionally, if there is a mistake with your order, you will not receive a refund. They will offer to remake the food, but that's the extent of their response. My experience was with takeout.

Every time I place an order, they never get it right. This time, I was missing a wing and the extra onions I paid for. I specifically asked them to make sure I received everything I ordered. However, when I got home, I found only a small portion of rice instead of the extra onions, and they included three wings instead of the correct order. They seem to have no problem charging me correctly, though. This could be my last visit—I'm really tired of being overcharged for items I never receive. Plus, when I call to address the issue, they act like they don’t understand English!

I discovered this restaurant on Grubhub.com, and I’m so glad I did! They made sure my food arrived hot, even though I live in Greenville, NC, and the restaurant is in Ayden, NC. The food was delicious and flavorful; I enjoyed every bite, and my daughter did too. I love Chinese cuisine, so having this place nearby makes it easy to satisfy my cravings. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again soon. Everything in my order was fantastic and tasty, which is sometimes hard to find when it comes to Chinese food, but this restaurant delivers on both fronts. I’m a customer for life! View menu

They have a rating of 81, which suggests the food quality isn't great. I tried the steamed dumplings, and they were burnt. The fried chicken wings had blackened bones, almost like asphalt. I was told it's because they cook frozen products, and the blood has settled. The main cook is constantly fidgeting and wears his mask below his chin. Plus, someone is always coughing. The staff handles money without washing their hands before cooking your food. It’s surprising that they have a lot of business; I wonder how no one has gotten sick yet, especially at this Ayden location. Happy eating!

While the food is generally good, the overall atmosphere doesn’t feel professional. I have a strong feeling that the man was having an argument in the back before he confronted the girl. Even if I didn’t understand his language, it was clear he was angry, and that anger spilled over to how he treated her. I couldn't stay silent about it. If it were my daughter being spoken to like that, I would hope someone would step in and let the boss know that yelling is not the appropriate way to handle the situation. Mediocre food, disorganized, slow. When you Live in a small town, you adjust your expectations, so I don’t expect city dining. A ubiquitous Chinese restaurant isn’t going to serve top quality food, but it should at least be hot, decent, and not a hassle to get. If these people tell you it’s going to be a ten-minute wait, go ahead and count on 30. Recently, I ordered soup, only to get home and find it lukewarm. An egg roll should be crisp.
