"Nora's I have so much to say, and I wish I had more pictures. But you are closed down now and hopefully getting ready to get your new location going. My headline , how does the only place that makes desserts this good which don't exist anywhere else in the south, but look like they belong in a New Jersey diner rotating refrigerator, also make such delicious savory Italian foodChef, Jonathan is not just an amazing pastry chef , he's also a really nice dude that makes incredible Italian foodFood is 10 out of five, I have enjoyed everything here from the lasagna and veal marsala, to the baked manicotti, and delicious cioppino and the pizza and calzones and Stromboli. Caesar salad dressing, homemade and delicious. The only place to get true New York, pizza, in Hendersonville, unless you want vegan pizza This is just the dinner. Unbelievably chef Jonathan puts out a dazzling array of impressively large and perfectly cooked Northeastern desserts. Cheesecake., giant chocolate eclairs., napoleons, the best cannolis around Asheville, perfectly moist strawberry, coconut cake, the list goes on and on, my family won't order tiramisu out because I make a very authentic recipe at home, Jonathan's tiramisu is even worth eating. This dude is truly an incredible chef. To quote his daughter for whom the restaurant is named who is often there, my dad he goes to the farmers market to buy his vegetables fresh every day. Yes he does.I am so sad that we don't have Nora's open at the moment . The last time I cooked on epic Italian dinner at home I just came here to get desserts. But you can be sure when I want to calzone or an antipasto salad loaded with perfectly cooked chicken and an evil garlic knot. I will come to Noras over and over again. The three and two star reviews make no sense to me. The service is hit and miss and sometimes it takes a long time. People should understand. I hear them pounding out there meat fresh to order. If you want faster service, I recommend Olive Garden. Otherwise just come here and wait for it and enjoy the quirky environment and the delicious food that will come out. It's a small family business and it deserves five stars because it's incredible the output they are doing with such a small staff. Final verdict, I love you Nora's will you go steady with me."

I visited the new location in uptown Hendersonville for the first time and stopped in for some New York pizza. I was incredibly satisfied! The crust was thin and crispy, with just a hint of olive oil, cooked to perfection and packed with ingredients and flavor. This is brick oven pizza at its finest! View menu

The food was incredible, and the customer service was fantastic! Alana was incredibly helpful with my order after Doordash messed it up and failed to deliver it. She went above and beyond by personally delivering my food, even though the restaurant doesn't typically offer delivery. She was friendly and kind both over the phone and in person. I can't wait to eat there again when I bring my family up for vacation!

I've liked their food before but tonight the pinwheel I bought was rock hard and burnt and the baked ziti had basically 0 flavor. EDIT : the owner gave me a 25$ gift certificate which i used on a pizza. I appreciate the owner doing this!! the pizza is amazing. I've liked Nora's for a while and was disappointed in what I got back then but the owner making it up to me and showing me that their food is still good is going to keep me coming back as a customer! thank you

As a former GM with the Olive Garden they sent me to stores all around this country. I cannot think of one restaurant, even 1 in Hendersonville or Ashville or anything where the principal owner and cook chef extraordinaire literally brings your order to your house to make absolutely sure she has 100% send. First of all, the food at Nora's is incredible. The portions are generous, easily enough for 2-3 people. The cheese was delightful, the bread was soft, and the flavors were genuinely authentic. However, there were a few downsides. The sweet tea was either stale or not prepared properly—it was quite unpleasant. We also had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated despite there only being 2-3 other families dining at the time. My biggest complaint, though, was that I had to ask for plastic utensils. Each piece of silverware my fiancé and I touched was covered in old food or dried cheese, which was very off-putting.

I've gone here several times, I believe 4 in total, and 3 of the times it was great. The last time, however, was terrible and unacceptable. I paid for a pizza I never received because of an error from an employee. I ordered online for lunch and they were closed for lunch. When I went to pick it up, after the time the email said it would be ready, she said that she'd meant to turn off online ordering but couldn't refund my order until that evening. She instructed me to come back later that day for a refund, which I did. She fiddled with a computer but apparently just pretended to give me a refund, based on my credit card statement now a week later.
