"I came here Wednesday night when they have live music in the back. A ton of musicians all came together and played traditional Irish melodies and some stood up to sing solos. It was a delightful atmosphere. The food was mediocre. I got the chicken ranch sandwich and a giant pretzel. Sandwich was a little lackluster and dry, but ok. Our waitress was pretty stressed as she was the only one taking orders from the pretty full restaurant. She still did a good job despite that."

They are open and working hard to provide a clean, safe, and friendly atmosphere with great service. The menu is limited as only a couple of good folk work there, however what they have is good pub food, fast, hot, fresh.

O'Brians Tavern on Mt Vernon Road, Dunwoody is one of a local chain of pubs serving a standardised menu supported by a well stocked bar. The interior is well appointed and staff are courteous and prompt with service. These pubs often feature artefacts like road signs and other cultural memorabilia from Great Britain. No need to cry in your beer for the loss of the original O'brian's Tavern the new owners have scored one of the best chefs in Atlanta when it comes to Fish and Chips. O...M...G! We did take out, so it was at least 45 minutes from her stove to my stomach, and the batter on that delicious, flavorful fish was crisp, crunchy and not a single piece of delicious batter fell off my fish. I just can't say enough. Well done!

The restaurant reopened under new management in September 2021 and is still experiencing some kitchen issues, which is understandable given the challenges of finding good employees during the Covid era. The service is very friendly and welcoming, with Jenifer standing out as particularly fantastic. The water tastes refreshing. However, the manager may want to reconsider the Hamburger Bungalow option, as it becomes overly soggy from absorbing too much fat from the burger.
