"Recently had my third visit at Sushi Okoku, I always go for the all-you-can-eat. It is extremely affordable, and they have such a wide variety of options that you're sure to get the most bang for your buck! First and foremost, let's talk about the gyoza. Oh boy, those little parcels of joy were pure perfection! Each bite delivered a burst of flavor that left me craving more. The chicken teriyaki, too, was a delight--succulent and came out piping hot. It truly hit the spot!Now, let's dive into the highlight of my visit--the jalapeno poppers! The combination of heat and creaminess was a match made in flavor heaven. Trust me when I say they are an absolute must-try. Prepare to have your taste buds dancing with joy!Moving on to the rolls, the Las Vegas roll never disappoints. It's become my reliable go-to. However, the Senorita roll left something to be desired. The avocado topping was disappointingly mushy, not quite reaching the level of excellence I had come to expect with Sushi Okoku. But hey, not every roll can be a superstar.While I've had great experiences with the service at Sushi Okoku in the past, this time, things were a bit off. I found myself waiting longer than expected for my first roll, and unfortunately, they missed bringing me two items I had ordered during my second round. It was a minor hiccup, but it did detract from the overall experience. But not enough to keep me from coming! Despite these hiccups, Sushi Okoku remains my go-to spot in Riverside. Flavorful offerings and impressive variety that will for sure satisfy your sushi craving!"

The fish here is incredibly fresh, and the portion sizes are generous. I visited with my siblings, and the customer service was excellent. I highly recommend trying the miso soup. The sushi is fantastic! Overall, I would rate the food as 5 out of 5.

Terrible Terrible service !!! The host was rude. The website says they close at 10 pm but when we walked in at 9:13 they said sorry all you can eat is done and we stop taking people at 9:15 nowhere did it say that in the restaurant or the website. The owner or manger was right in front of us and wouldn't even talk to us. I do not recommend this place.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of rolls and has a pleasant atmosphere. However, during my first visit, I found that the rolls didn't taste fresh, and they felt warm on the inside. The drinks were also disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend the flavored mixed drinks. Additionally, they automatically add a 20% gratuity for bills after 5 PM and 15% before that. Used to be one of our favorite spots, unfortunately they started forcing customers to pay 15% tip, we are great tippers when the service is good, but this business model takes the responsibility off of the staff to give good customer service since they are automatically guaranteed a 15% tip or service fee. Unfortunately we will not be returning. Great tasting food, but I definitely do not like to be FORCED to tip for bad service. Staff was arguing among each.

Best sushi in the IE, the combination of flavors depending on what you feel like having is the best. It ranges from having a sweet tangy roll, to fresh and spicy rolls. Always offering the freshest fish and ingredients. Customer service is on point. All waiters/waitresses are extremely attentive and courteous. Once you order they bring you your rolls out super fast. We love the variety of rolls they have to offer and of course the fact that you have the ALL YOU CAN EAT option. Taking people here for their birthday is fun because they do a mini little show just to celebrate for them.

Very very happy with my first visit to Sushi Okoku ?. Even writing this review makes me hungry again. We did the AYCE (all you can eat) sushi ? and absolutely enjoyed it. What I like the most is the sheer variety of rolls that they offer. So many creative rolls I have never had before. I love having rice free rolls. These are sushi rolls that are made without rice ?. Different but very delicious. I also really enjoy rolls that are made without seaweed. For example rice paper rolls are delicious. When we arrived, the waitress initially acknowledged us but then walked away, leaving us confused about what to do next. After a short time, she asked us to follow her to a table, which was fine. However, it took an unusually long time for her to take our orders. Instead of attending to us, she spent her time in her section, eating, even though I made eye contact and tried to get her attention.
