Old Milford Parlor Coffee Ice Cream

Typically, this place is fantastic, but they forgot to add the cookie dough to my flurry.

The peanut butter shakes didn't have as strong a peanut butter flavor as they did in my previous visits.

I got my husband a chocolate chip cookie dough milk shake and he said it was the best milkshake hes ever had in his life!

I absolutely adore this place! It's a charming local ice cream shop in Old Milford that offers soft serve ice cream, edible cookie dough, coffee, and more.

I was disappointed with my order. There were no brownie bits in the flurry, and instead of my desired items, I received two flurries and two scoops of Solo Scoop Cookie Dough, which I didn't request. I specifically wanted brownie bits in my flurry, more M&Ms included with my order, and just one scoop of cookie dough.

I recently visited Old Milford Parlor with a close friend who has a serious nut allergy. She decided to order the Strawberry Ice Cream, which is one of her go-to safe options. However, in a playful moment, I took a bite without telling her and was hit with a strong nutty flavor. It turns out the staff had irresponsibly mixed nuts into what was supposed to be a safe treat. If I hadn’t discovered this, she could have had a severe allergic reaction. Because of this experience, I won’t be going back.

The interior design is very stylish and has a great theme, but that's where the positives end. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is quite disappointing. The coffee is incredibly bitter and unappealing, even when paired with ice cream. Speaking of which, the ice cream is just standard soft-serve—nothing exceptional about it. Overall, the ice cream lacks quality as well. It's also puzzling that they changed their name from Cookie Dough to Coffee while serving such a watery and overly bitter coffee. View menu
